Is Rep. John Lewis The Only One Not Attending President Elect Trump’s Inauguration?

So why am I only hearing about Rep. Lewis not going?

So is that not their right to not attend?

Hell I remember how the good ole boys met right before President Obama took office and agreed not to support anything that he was going to ask for.

I ain’t even getting into when Trump and other Republicans and some Democrats said that President Obama was not legit. Damn but now Rep. Lewis  and some others can’t feel some type of way.

Gov. Cooper says he’s in talks about repeal of House Bill 2 – News & Observer

Gov. Roy Cooper said Monday he sees an opening for another possible deal with legislative leaders to repeal House Bill 2.

In Charlotte to speak at the YMCA’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. holiday breakfast, the Democratic governor said he has been talking with GOP Senate leader Phil Berger and House Speaker Tim Moore since their last proposed deal collapsed in December.

“We’ve had it out. A couple of times, we’ve talked,” Cooper told reporters after the breakfast. “They certainly do want to move forward in some way.” (Read more)

Politics When You Know How It Works The Better Off You Will Be

​This is politics and when one recognize and understand how it works the better off one will be. 

If I wanted to ask a question I would ask do ya’ll think it is okay not to meet with elected officials, community leaders and others that you don’t vote for and/or don’t like?

What you will get is you never asked for anything and then they can use that against you whether you like it or not.

Folk there are numerous of folk that meet with these folk all the time.

I am waiting for folk to get mad about what is going on locally because I know who has been and are involved.

I have been calling folk out locally while others call out behind their back. There is a hell of more damage done in your local areas than worrying about who Steve Harvey met with.

Hell here in North Carolina former Governor McCrory and the Republican Legislators have tore up NC.
