Richard Sherman’s Dad Refuses To Live Off Him, Wakes Up At 3:45 AM To Drive A Garbage Truck – Parental Soul

Just when you think the Richard Sherman story can’t get any better, IT DOES! Let me just tell you up front that I’m a MASSIVE fan of this young man and his parents. Listening to him clearly articulate his thoughts in front of a room full of media outlets being broadcast around the country is enough to know he had a great upbringing and people around him, his parents.

Richard Sherman graduated number 2 in his Compton high school, graduated from Stanford University with a 3.7 GPA, stayed for a Master’s degree, was drafted to the NFL, became a Pro Bowler, and made the key play to send his team to the Super Bowl, but none of this is why the story gets better. Why Antics by Several Republicans Suggest the Party Needs Therapy

Just when you think that Republican officials can’t do anything more self-destructive to their own party, they prove that we have underestimated them. How did RNC Chairman Reince Priebus respond to this recent avalanche of bad GOP conduct, ranging from a congressman threatening to throw a reporter off a balcony to insensitive comments about women, gays, and blacks? Did he become outraged with the people who committed these wrongs?

Nope. Instead, he announced a boycott of MSNBC. Why? Because Priebus was allegedly upset over this MSNBC tweet: “Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family.”

This tweet didn’t even mention the Republican Party, but I guess Priebus has become the protector of all things “right wing” in America. (MSNBC did apologize Thursday.) (Source: Read more)

Rocky Mount NC – Damn Just Stumbled Across Yet Another Site (The Observers) That Is Targeting Rocky Mount Mayor Pro-tem Andre Knight

Response: Damn here we go again. Yet another ignant ass group that is targeting Rocky Mount Mayor Pro-tem Andre Knight. Black folks and conscious white folks how do you continue to join these groups? Keep on allowing these groups to mislead you while you don’t even know by name who are starting these groups. Read the following links and then click on the links at the end of article: “Hell Yeah I Said It, Now What!: See How A Bunch Of Ignant Racist Ass White Folks Get Bull Manure Started Misleading Folks – Rocky Mount Event Center Saga

THE PLAN!

The Observers has two entities. One on the outside keeping watch on all of the Observers Yard Sign and window decal owners so they can feel safe at home, dealing with kids being bullied, and helping ALL parents with issues they may have with their kids, like gangs.

The second entity is here. Supplying residents with the knowledge to take back their city. To bring attention to everything that has been tearing our community apart, in other words, gathering our army and stand together as one big family of ALL races.

We are going to talk about the second entity for now. How do we make a change using social media? Many of you already have that answer because we JUST proved it works, SHARING!

But that’s only half the battle. The secret that these companies and politicians use is what is called "Public Attention Span". They know that eventually people will stop making a stink about something and things will go back to normal. Lets take an example:

Food Prices! Every year food goes up, people complain, but then it’s accepted as the norm. What if we approached this in a different way? Lets pick Harris Teeter and Food Lion. With SHARING we can spread the word to only shop at Harris Teeter until Food Lion lower their prices.

Now we all know some people will still shop at Food Lion, but many will not, and that hurts profit. Now we will use HISTORY to prove this point.

Martin Luther King did it with the buses. They hurt their bottom line so much that the rule had to change, not because it was the right thing to do, but GREED. So here is how WE will do it:

Not only will we share what we want changed, but we will make a list of all our wants and keep going over the list until our demands are met. Lets use an example in current time:

Andre Knight sat there and ON TV told Mr. Daughtridge, in so many words " We have the votes to get this done" meaning the African American votes. I don’t want to bring race into this, but if the color of their skin was reversed, ALL HELL WOULD HAVE BROKE LOOSE.

Since that town meeting, how much have you heard about it? This is something that needs to CONSTANTLY be brought up until he resigns, and with so much pressure he would.

To think we can change all of this with just the click of a button is pretty cool. The more shares we get, the more people hers our message, and in this case, when it comes times to vote, everyone will have in their minds what he said, then out he goes!

Before we began our crusade, lets hear ANY suggestions or questions on how to improve this plan. ALL of us has to agree on this in order for it to work.

Congresswoman Says She Supports Equal Pay Laws, Voted Against Them Four Times – ThinkProgress

Response: Damn! How ignant! Maybe it is in the tea because in this same article read it for yourself and don’t take my word. “But McMorris Rodgers actually voted against laws meant to address the pay disparity between men and women four times.”

On CNN Wednesday, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) told host Wolf Blitzer that she supports equal pay for women despite voting against a measure that would help women achieve that goal.

In response to a question from Blitzer about President Obama’s call for equal pay in his State of the Union Address on Tuesday and whether she is “with the President when he says that there should be laws mandating equal pay for equal work for women,” McMorris Rodgers, who gave the official Republican response, replied: (Source: Read more)

Anyone still attempting to argue that Ebonics is a problem for black students or that it is somehow connected to a lack of intelligence

Response: I love it when folks come on my blog and criticize my posts. Hell but they prove the point because they gets the message and if they didn’t their ignant ass would not respond to me not one time, but continue to respond over and over again. But the sad thing these ignant asses got options. Their options is not an option because their main goal is to attempt to discredit me just like they want to do to black students whom they feel are not affluent and don’t act white or like the all who have forgot from whence they come. Ya’ll gonna learn the day!

"…anyone still attempting to argue that Ebonics is a problem for black students or that it is somehow connected to a lack of intelligence or lack of desire to achieve is about as useful as a Betamax video cassette player, and it’s time for those folks to be retired, be they teachers, administrators, or community leaders, so the rest of us can try to do some real work in the service of equal access for black students and all students." – Adam J Banks

Hell Yeah I Said It, Now What!: See How A Bunch Of Ignant Racist Ass White Folks Get Bull Manure Started Misleading Folks – Rocky Mount Event Center Saga

Response: So what in the hell is all of the fuss? Thank you Mayor David Combs for putting it out there. Rocky Mount city leaders are nowhere near a decision whether to build a new downtown event center but are simply gathering facts to make an informed decision, Mayor David Combs said. But listening to those Ignant Racist Ass White Folks and Ignant Ass Safe Negroes hell one would think construction was about to begin and the only reason it had not is because of the snow.

I told ya’ll that they are these ignants are trying to blame the city council for something that was presented to them by the city manager who just happens to be black and his staff. But ya’ll want to listen to these ignants who are mad because the Rocky Mount City Council is a 4-3 Black Majority and the City Manager is Black. City staff is working with the financial consulting firm Davenport & Co., which specializes in evaluating the finances of local governments, to outline possible funding options for a downtown event center, which is estimated to cost $37.2 million.

Damn these ignants didn’t even wait for the city council to receive all of the information and want to atttempt to use a scare tactic by misleading the public to think to go to the city council meetings and raise hell. What they didn’t tell you is that if you bought into their ignant bull manure that you would join the Ignant Council. The information is expected to be brought before the Rocky Mount City Council in the next month but a date has not been set.

“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” Combs said. “There are still a lot of questions to answer.”

Damn I tried to tell ya’ll that but them ignants The Community Council, WHIG-TV and Fighting Crime and Cleaning Up Rocky Mount are using Social Media and Tv to reach folks not only who live in Rocky Mount but trying to reach out to folks across the nation for them to comment on what is going on in Rocky Mount. He said some residents are asking the city to hold a public hearing on the event center proposal, but there hasn’t been enough data gathered to do that, Combs said.

I said that when they get all of the information they would put it on the agenda and then the community would be allowed to voice their opinion. But those ignants wanted you to voice your opinion on information that you have no clue about because all they are doing is feeding you a bunch of bull manure in codes. “I think somehow the public may think we are doing all of this in a vacuum, but we’re really not,” Combs said. “We’re just trying to go through the process and get all the information we can get to come back to the council to have those discussions to see if it makes sense.”

Combs said a major unanswered question is whether there are grants and tax credits that could help fund the center that could significantly reduce the public’s investment.

“We know there is something called ‘new market tax credits’ out there that would probably be about $10 million of what (the center would cost),” he said. “Those tax credits don’t cost the city anything.”

Damn did I read the following right or did my ignant ass make this up? I think I read that the Aecom’s report was paid for by PNC Bank. Aecom Technical Services, a consulting firm out of Chicago that prepared a report about a proposed event center for the city, estimates that a center in Rocky Mount would have a projected annual operating deficit of up to $640,000 a year. But a proposed event center in downtown Rocky Mount would generate an estimated $12 million in annual economic benefit for local businesses and create 200 new jobs, according to Aecom’s report, which was funded by PNC Bank.

Rocky Mount City Manager Charles Penny said city staff, with the assistance of Davenport & Co., is looking at all different types of funding options.

I am glad the city is looking at the total picture because these ignants that is making all of this fuss damn sure ain’t. “We’re looking at the total picture, what it would cost to issue debt and things of that nature,” he said.

Damn Lige Daughtridge and WHIG-TV wanted to make the meeting a public hearing that they are claiming Mayor Pro-tem Andre Knight called Lige a racist which is a damn lie and the truth ain’t in it. They come down there talking about something that was not even on the agenda.

Penny said a public hearing would not be held when the financial information is brought before council, but the data will be available to the public.

“A public hearing is (held) when you’re getting ready to issue some debt or something, but we’re not at that point,” he said.

Oh so now Lige is taken a back seat and Skip is speaking to the media. A group of local  residents who have raised questions about the event center have formed a group called The Community Council. The council is holding an organizational meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the first floor conference room of Braswell Memorial Library.

Skip Carney, one of the organization’s founders, said anyone interested in learning more about the group is encouraged to attend.

“The purpose is to introduce the idea of The Community Council, to explain the purpose of it to anyone who is interested, and encourage people to get involved and participate,” he said.

So what is the problem? Carney said he is pleased that the city is evaluating the finances of a proposed event center before going ahead and building it.

Damn as I have stated, the real deal is to attempt to discredit the 4-3 black majority council and the black city manager by using intimidation and code words to mislead the community to get them fired up to help The Community Council, WHIG-TV and Fighting Crime and Cleaning Up Rocky Mount agenda. Folks you better do your own investigation before you jump on the bandwagon with them. They have attempted to pull another stunt to get the people of Rocky Mount to go against Mayor Pro-tem Rocky Mount City Councilman Andre Knight and President of the Rocky Mount NAACP. They have been every since he has been on the council and they have tried everything they possibly can to remove him. But ain’t God good!

Fighting Crime and Cleaning Up Rocky Mount removed me so I could not comment on their page because I was posting truth! LMBAO!

“We’re encourage by that idea because we don’t believe the suggestions (for funding the center) that were listed in the report from Aecom are feasible,” he said.

Note: I am responding to: City weighs funding options for proposed Event Center Rocky Mount Telegram.

Authorities offer $5,000 reward in shooting cases – Rocky Mount Telegram

Rocky Mount police are offering $5,000 rewards in two recent cases of violence against area youth – the Jan. 18 slaying of a teen and the Jan. 27 shooting of four youth on a basketball court.

Brian Freeman, 15, was shot and killed on the 700 block of East Highland Ave. while walking home from a friend’s house. Police said detectives have investigated some credible leads, but no arrests have been made.

A group of youth were playing basketball around 6 p.m. Monday when gunshots were fired and four were hit on the court near Word Tabernacle Church. (Source: Read more)

West Virginia Man Kills New Black Neighbor – The Root

Response: What a damn shame! He shot them simply because he wanted to shoot a black man. SMDH! And that is why I used to say in meetings when talking about young black boys were at-risk and I would say all black men are at-risk. This is a damn prime example.

Rodney Bruce Black fatally shot his new neighbor and the man’s brother, apparently thinking that they were breaking into his house, when they were not even on his property.

A man from Barboursville, W.Va., fatally shot his new neighbor and the neighbor’s brother without warning as the two men were inspecting their property, New York’s Daily News reports.

Rodney Bruce Black, 62, told authorities that he thought his victims were breaking into a building he owned. However, although the building is on land that once belonged to Black’s family, that was not the case anymore.

One of the victims, Garrick Hopkins, 60, and his wife had just purchased the property next door to Black and were planning to build a house within the next few weeks, Sheriff Tom McComas told the Daily News on Monday. Hopkins invited his brother, Carl, who was 61, to inspect the property with him Saturday afternoon. (Source: Read more)

‘White people are less likely to be gay’: Poll reveals African-American community has highest percentage of ‘LGBT’ adults in U.S.

Response: Damn is it anything that black folks don’t lead in? We lead in everything that they want us to lead in. SMDH!

Poorer blacks and Asians are more likely to be gay than wealthier whites, a controversial study claimed yesterday.

A Gallup survey – said to be the largest of its kind ever undertaken in America – estimated that 3.4 per cent of US adults saw themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT).

That figure consisted of 4.6 per cent of African-Americans, 4.3 per cent of Asians, 4 per cent of Hispanics – but only 3.2 per cent of whites.

In contrast to earlier, smaller studies, researchers also found that Americans with the lowest levels of education were most likely to say they were gay. (Source: Read more)

Forward Together Moral Movement State Tour Calls People to Raise Their Voices

Against Extremist Policies at the Moral March on Raleigh

DURHAM – Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, the president of the North Carolina NAACP, will take his statewide tour into Eastern North Carolina starting on Jan. 31 in order to mobilize for the Moral March on Raleigh HKonJ People’s Assembly.

The tour, which began on Jan. 14, has rallied thousands of people from Brevard to Burlington against the constitutionally-inconsistent, morally-indefensible and economically-insane policies pushed by Gov. Pat McCrory, Speaker Tom Tillis, Senate Leader Phil Berger and Budget Director Art Pope.

"Overturning these policies is a task that asks us all to come together," Dr. Barber said, "no matter what our color, religion, party affiliation, creed, sexuality or socioeconomic status."

At each stop, Dr. Barber stressed the need for North Carolinians to continue to stand in witness against laws passed by extremist legislators in 2013 that will hurt the sick, the poor, women, children and hard-working people who have fallen on rough times.

"The people’s power is steadfast," Dr. Barber told the crowd gathered in Winston-Salem on Jan. 23. "This year, we will vote with our voices and with our ballots at the ballot box."

The Moral March on Raleigh kicks off a year of nonviolent direct-action, litigation, voter education and mobilization for the NC NAACP and its partners as they seek to overturn the old Southern strategy of racial and socioeconomic division and pursue a new fusion politics united around serving all the people.

Dr. Barber and the Forward Together team have already put in hundreds of miles across the state, making appearances in Laurinburg, Plymouth, Goldsboro, Charlotte, Asheville, Brevard, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Burlington and Rocky Mount. Over the next two weeks, the statewide tour will move eastward.

But the Moral Movement will return to Raleigh on Feb. 3 for the Moral Monday "Costs and Loss" Policy Briefing. Held at 3 pm at the Martin St Baptist Church Family Life Center, the briefing will bring together scholars, economists, business people and policy experts to explain how the laws and regulations pushed by Gov. McCrory and the General Assembly leadership have cost the average North Carolinian morally, economically, socially, politically and physically.

These experts will challenge the governor’s and his allies’ framing of the past year as a "Carolina Comeback" by pointing out empirically the costs and losses of these extremist policies that have instead fostered a "Carolina Set-Back and Catastrophe."

January 14, 2014 McCrory responds to Butterfield, Price – NorthCarolinaPoliticalNews.Com

Response: Although I didn’t vote for my Governor, I respect him. However I can’t think of anything I agree with him on. It is obvious he do not give a damn about poor folks, unemployed folks and folks who could qualify for the Medicaid expansion. Notice I didn’t say he didn’t give a damn about black folks because all of the categories I named black, brown, white and other folks can relate.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Office of Governor Pat McCrory released the following letter today in an effort to clear up misconceptions by Reps. David Price and G.K. Butterfield concerning the scheduling of the 12th Congressional District election in November.
