Videos On Youtube Please Bear With Me

I am learning how to do the Youtube thing so bear with me. I am using my cell phone because my camcorder is not HD. I am still recording the entire events on my camcorder but the quality of video is not as good as my phone. I hope to get a new camcorder with HD capabilities soon.

If I was getting paid to do all of this stuff I do, I could purchase a camcorder soon but I am operating out of pocket. I video political meetings and events so that I can make folk aware of what is going on around them. I try to keep folk whom have moved away but still have family and friends here abreast of what is going on. I video funerals for free 99% of the time because that is how I show my condolences to close friends of my family.

School funding should be solved locally – Rocky Mount Telegram

The Watch Dog response: I see Robbie Davis is still at it. Well will have to just wait it out and see how this unfold.

Republican Nash County Commissioners Robbie Davis and Wayne Outlaw reiterated their determination last week to revamp the financing formula for Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools or split the district along county lines.

During the Nash County Republican Party’s GOP Aware meeting at party headquarters in the Westridge Shopping Center, Davis said he expects the issue to be brought up before the N.C. General Assembly after the legislature convenes this spring. N.C. Rep. Jeff Collins, R-Nash, had planned to introduce legislation calling for a referendum on whether to divide the school district along county lines toward the end of last year’s marathon legislative session but ran out of time.

Collins told the Telegram in October that he planned to introduce the legislation in this year’s session, which begins in April. (Source: Read more)

Tarboro NC – Edgecombe County HRC Candidates Forum Held And They Had An Issue With A Candidate Being Questioned About His Taxes

image

Click on photo to watch video of the entire forum.

Yesterday after getting off work at 3:30 PM I had a 4:00 PM appointment at the car dealership. I had to make a stop by the doctor’s office to pick up my daddy’s medical records. I then headed to Tarboro NC to the Candidates Forum held by the Edgecombe County Human Relations Commission (HRC).

The 1st question of the night was directed to Calvin Sherrod. Rev. Roosevelt Higgs had an issue with the question see for yourself what happened after then.

The forum should have been for only the local Edgecombe County Commissioners candidates because that is where the most interest was from my opinion as it related to the people in the room.

See my comments at the end of the meeting. Damn it was hard waiting until the end because I wanted to interrupt the meeting to rebuttal the HRC stance on the 1st question of the night.

After Martha Johnson interrupted the meeting, see what she had to say, I really wanted to interrupt then but I decided to wait until the end of the forum.

On another note it appeared and from talking to some folk it the meeting was poorly advertised.

The was no paid media present other than myself.

I announced how I felt about the meeting tonight because I would be posting the video on Youtube.

Watch the video to see what candidates were present and you can make an informed decision about the candidates and how you feel the forum went.

Homegoing Celebration For John Henry Manley Sr. Littleton NC

My condolences goes out to John Manley Jr. and the entire Manley family of the late John Henry Manley Sr. Littleton NC.

I didn’t know Mr. John Manley Sr. however I do know John Jr. I believe many times you can tell something about the parents by what you see in their children. John Jr. has lived a productive life and I believe that has something to do with how his father impacted his life.

My condolences goes out to Willie Collins, the entire Collins and Williams families of the late Kim Williams Collins Pinetops, NC.

I have been knowing Kim for many, many years throughout middle and high school. She always treated me nice and when I seen her over the years in the grocery store or other she would always talk about how she loved my blog. I just videoed her son’s homegoing on Sunday and Kim was holding on. I didn’t get to talk to her Sunday but I was there to support her and the family.

House Delivers Contingent Congressional Map

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 19, 2016

House Delivers Contingent Congressional Map

Complies with Federal Trial Court’s Ruling

Raleigh, NC – Today the North Carolina House of Representatives passed a bill (65-43) that establishes a new Congressional map for 2016. Redistricting bills do not require the Governor’s signature; therefore, SB-2: 2016 Contingent Congressional Plan becomes law, subject to action by the U.S. Supreme Court.

While the State still maintains that the current map is constitutional and hopes the U.S. Supreme Court will still issue a stay, this bill is a necessary component to the contingency plans.

The new Congressional map is compact and splits fewer counties and precincts than in recent history. In the past, North Carolina has seen up to 40 counties and 68 precincts split, while the new Congressional map only splits 13 counties and 12 precincts.

The Joint Select Committee on Congressional Redistricting adopted criteria after public comment and debate that gave directive on how the maps were to be drawn. These criteria were harmonized to produce the 2016 Contingent Congressional map. During debate, the Committee rejected using race as criteria and addressed public calls to eliminate the “serpentine” shaped 12th district that the State has seen since 1992.

“We recognize that this condensed timeline – mandated by the federal trial court – has been frustrating and confusing for the people of North Carolina, but we are pleased that we were able to make this process as transparent and open to public comment as possible,” said Rep. David Lewis (R-Harnett). Lewis serves as Chair of the Joint Legislative Committee on Redistricting and led redrawing efforts for the House. “This map – the only one put forward for consideration – is practicable, fair, and respectfully complies with court order. We still remain hopefully optimistic that the U.S. Supreme Court will issue a stay soon to help avoid all confusion and the cost of a stand-alone Congressional primary in June.”

This law will become null and void if the U.S. Supreme Court issues a stay.

Homegoing Celebration For Deacon James Lee Collins Pinetops, NC

My condolences goes out to Annie Belle Collins, Kay Frances Collins Williams, Cleveland Collins, Vickie Collins-Best and the entire family of the late James Lee Collins Pinetops, NC.

I have been knowing Deacon Collins nearly all of my life. I grew up across the road from him. I began preparing his garden when I was around 9 or 10 years old. I used to play basketball in his yard. I used to serve in the Bynum Mill Road Community Club with him. I used to serve on the Pinetops Community Center Board with him. I visited Pines Chapel where he was a deacon over the years. I have never seen Deacon Collins get mad or act a fool in all of my days. He was always kind and caring. When good men like this expire it hurts because he and some of the other men in the community Bynum Mill Road always encourage me and today I am who I am.

John Oliver pounds GOP for invoking ‘bullsh*t’ rule to keep from voting for Scalia’s replacement – RawStory

The Watch Dog response: These ignants continue to do what their goal was and still is to block anything President Obama want to do.

HBO’s John Oliver made his triumphant return to Sunday night and immediately went after Republicans for a saying they will refuse to consider any nominations to replace Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

Calling Scalia’s death “the end of an era on the Supreme Court,” Oliver noted that “There is now a huge vacancy on the Supreme Court that needs to be filled, or if you listened to the Republicans in the last 24 hours — not.”

Sharing a clip of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump urging Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to “delay, delay, delay,” Oliver said it just might happen. (Source: Read more)

Republican Primary Debate In South Carolina

Republican Primary these ignants are crazy!! Talking about President Obama should not be able to appoint someone to replace Justice Scalia. One of these ignants said that the President has this country divided. Now that is too ignant!

Damn when you have the power you use it. That is what these ignants have done since they have been in office but now they want to change the game. Typical of ignant racist white folk and ignant safe negroes.
