North Carolina – Damn Fools (Republicans) Didn’t Accept The Medicaid In The Obamacare Package And It Would Not Have Cost The Taxpayers One Dime

Congressman G.K. Butterfield was on the local radio station FM 92.1 Express Yourself Monday night March 4, 2013 and he spoke about how the NC General Assembly (Republicans) did not approve the Medicaid part.

Did you know that as it relates to Medicaid it will not cost the NC taxpayers a dime? Congressman Butterfield said that the Federal Government would pay 100% for the 1st 3 years and after then the Federal Government will pay 90%. Did you know that a single person atleast 30 years old with no children would have been able to qualify for Medicaid. Did you know it would not have been limited to how much a person had in the bank and/or what they owned it would have been determined by income only. So I see why atleast 8 other Republican Governors from other states accepted the Obamacare.

This is RACISM at it’s best because our Republican Governor signed off on not accepting Obamacare as it relates to Medicaid, they reduced the amount of unemployment from around $500.00 to around $350.00 and on top of that reduced the amount of weeks also. They also have stripped people in director positions of different agencies before the end of terms so they can put in folks who think like them.

These Republicans also are working on Voter Id but they don’t want to check out people who are obtaining guns.

It is just a damn shame how these good ole boys are trying to make our President look bad at the expense of poor people.

Well I believe that when certain folks whom they want to have guns become unemployed and have no resources these folks are going to turn on them. You see some folks have been used to being without but some folks can’t handle being without.

I have got to get with my Congressman G.K. Butterfield to get him on video as he inform us about Sequestration, Voting Rights Act and other things that are going on in Washington DC so I can share it with others. He spoke on Sequestration and the Voting Rights Act last night also but I am not going to talk about that right now because I want folks to know about what our North Carolina General Assembly is doing to us. But stay tuned.

Lawmaker on jobless bill: ‘It will cause more suicides and mass killings’ – Wilson NC

One of the controversial legislative debates this session is the vote to cut unemployment benefits.

The measure would reduce the maximum number of benefit weeks from 26 to 20.

It was an easy win for Republicans over Democrats – 77 to 42.

But one Democrat said she voted for the measure by mistake. (More)

John Boehner Pressured By Some To Let Democrats Pass Fiscal Cliff Bill – HuffPost Politics

WASHINGTON — In case the public weren’t frustrated enough over Congress’ failure to resolve the "fiscal cliff," consider this: lawmakers probably could enact a compromise quickly and easily if Republican leaders let Democrats provide most of the votes.

That would give Democrats a bigger voice in the bargain, of course, which the Republican-led House is loath to do. That’s why about 10 percent of the House’s members – staunch anti-tax conservatives – were able to thwart Speaker John Boehner’s bid to pass a narrowly crafted bill that might have strengthened his bargaining hand. On Monday, Brown appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to blast the Republicans’ insistence on including severe cuts in entitlement programs to avert the impending fiscal cliff. (More)

Party of Entitled Rich Threatens Economy – Truthout

Republicans, the party of the nation’s entitled rich, are holding a knife to the throat of America’s frail recovery.

The GOP sore losers have America up against a wall. Republicans don’t care that the majority of the country voted for a candidate who promised to raise taxes on the rich. Republicans don’t care that an even larger majority – 60 percent – told election day pollsters they wanted those taxes raised. (More)

Being Ignant

“Know that being ignant is not always a bad thing, however it is a bad thing when you don’t do anything about it especially when you are trying to discredit others. Know what you are talking about when you open your mouth so you will not make a damn fool out of yourself.” Curmilus Dancy II The Political Agitator Tuesday April 3, 2012

Today, after former CIA Director General Petraeus very slowly explained to confused, befuddled Republicans what everyone in the world already knew, they saw the light. Yes, I called the fail this morning but who knew it would be so sudden and decisive.

It turns out that the intelligence report sent to Congress that Ambassador Rice also based her talking points on was just that. The report was approved by the CIA. Later they changed their assessment. (More)

Barbara Bush To GOP: “Compromise Is Not A Dirty Word” – NewsOne

Response: I totally agree with Barbara Bush these Ignant Racist Republicans need to get the hell over it. “Our” President has won and won by a damn landslide so what in the hell is their problem. They met and their main concern was to make “our” President a one term President but the people said oh hell no! So what part of the picture they do not understand. They are just ignant but they gonna learn the day! Well!

”Our” President has told then he do not have to run again for re-election but some of these ignant damn Republicans that are planning on running again don’t even understand.

These Republicans either don’t understand or they are in denial. Well I think they are just in denial. They are asleep, dreaming and they need to wake the hell up. Oh well!

From the moment that Mitch McConnell said that his number one priority was to make President Barack Obama a one term president, up until Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney claimed that he only lost the election because of Obama’s “gifts” to Black, Hispanic and young voters, the GOP has veered so far to the right of center that it’s very likely they will cease to be competitive at the executive level in the not so distance future.

Enter former First Lady Barbara Bush. (More)

Republicans: Jimmy Carter’s grandson strikes again – Daily Kos

Response: But the sad part we have ignant black folks who promoted the Republican Party but is registered Democrat. My thing is if they were so damn mad with “our” President why didn’t they switch parties. Oh hell not these kinds of folks play both sides.

You probably remember back in September when Jimmy Carter’s grandson, James Carter IV, was instrumental in digging up and helping publicize Romney’s 47% video. We all enjoyed the poetic justice of the moment that very likely contributed to Romney’s defeat.

Now James Carter IV is at it again, this time digging up actual audio of Republican strategist Lee Atwater explaining the "Southern Strategy": (More)

Cornel West: Obama A ‘Republican In Blackface,’ Black MSNBC Hosts Are ‘Selling Their Souls’

During an interview last week with Democracy Now, author and activist Cornel West offered harsh criticism of President Barack Obama, calling him a “Rockefeller Republican in blackface” and not someone who is actually looking out for the best interests of the impoverished. The prominent social critic also lashed out at black MSNBC personalities, accusing them of “selling their souls” in support of a president who has been anything but progressive. (More)

In response: To a black male who responded to this post on a Facebook!

I don’t ignore anything however I had 2 options and I chose to vote for President Barack Obama because I feel he will do more for the good of all people versus Mitt Romney who in my opinion don’t give a damn about all folks. It was he who said the 47% not I. Damn I hate it when the facts are there.

As far as Cornel West opinion I have no problem with him because he can say whatever he like but at the end of the day I have a mind of my own and I can speak for myself.

Sir again speak for your damn self because when you say everyone that included me. Not!

And furthermore I have not read the article as of yet but going to after I hit enter. You see President Barack Obama will be "our" President for the next 4 years so West, you and the Republicans along with some DemRepubs need to get the hell over it. LMBAO!

Ronald Reagan did not leave the Democratic Party in 1964 and become a Republican because he saw the Democratic Party as being the party of big government

Eric Smith

Ronald Reagan did not leave the Democratic Party in 1964 and become a Republican because he saw the Democratic Party as being the party of big government as he later said. No, he left it for one reason and that was because the Democratic Party was behind the Civil Rights Act of 1964,; an act that the Republican nominee for president that year, Barry Goldwater, opposed and promised to repeal if elected.

It is because of this that Dr. King helped convince 96% of African Americans to vote for President Johnson in the Fall. In this matter Ronald Reagan was acting true to character for in the 1940’s he and his then wife Jane Wyman attached a racially restrictive covenant to their house, forbidding it to be sold to anyone who was African American or Jewish; a fact that was revealed in the clos

ing days of the 1984 presidential campaign but which came out too late to affect the final outcome.

If Ronald Reagan had had his way, black people would still be going to separate schools, riding in the back of the bus, eating at segregated lunch counters, and still be subjected to vigilantism in the form of Judge Lynch. Reagan regarded Dr. King as a Communist subversive rather than as the Freedom Fighter he really was and only signed the legislation making Dr. King’s birthday a national holiday only after he was convinced by his advisers that a veto would be overturned and amount to national suicide for the Republican Party.weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Dr. King knew what Reagan was really about as well as anybody and when he saw people like him joining the GOP ranks because of its increasing opposition to racial justice, he knew that it was no longer the Party of Lincoln and that it was both time for him to leave that party and oppose it at every opportunity which he did in the final five years of his life. Even a staunch Republican such as former baseball great Jackie Robinson saw the writing on the wall and in 1968 he supported Hubert Humphrey for president against Richard Nixon and just before he died in 1972 he supported George McGovern as well.

So the idea of any person of color with Dr. King or Mr. Robinson’s mindset being a Republican today is absolutely ridiculous and utterly inaccurate for the racial hatred & intolerance that defines the Republican Party of today is that very same racial hatred & intolerance that people like Dr. King fought against and anyone who tries to tell you differently is a bald faced liar, period!

Message to the Republican Party by Curtis Gatewood

Message to the Republican Party: As you do some soul searching, you should first of all find it. Get your soul back from all of the big businesses who bought your soul. Keep in mind Jesus’ word which asks the question – "For what is a man profitted if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?" You sold your soul.
The next thing the republican party must do is stop fooling yourselves

– all Black people do not wish to be "Democrats", the fact of the matter is your racist tone and racist position have given Black people NO CHOICE. Don’t forget, Romney was invited to the NAACP National Convention and what did he do with such an opportunity? He came in arrogantly talking about vote for me so I can "repeal Obamacare". And after getting booed and leaving the convention what did he do? Made this statement – "If you all want free stuff vote for the other guy!" FREE STUFF? Dammit, we gave over 300 years of "FREE" LABOR! So yes, we did vote for the "other guy" because we want "FREE"-DOM!!!

Congressional Delegation Shifted To A Republican Majority

The makeup of North Carolina’s congressional delegation shifted to a Republican majority after key House seat gains by Richard Hudson in District 8 and George Holding in District 13. Seven Democrats and six Republicans won North Carolina’s 13 congressional races in 2008.

President Lincoln And Dr. King Republicans?

Eric Smith

Every time a Republican tell me that President Lincoln was a Republican who freed the slaves, that Dr. King was a Republican (he wasn’t after Presidents Kennedy & Johnson pushed forward Civil Rights & Voting Rights legislation), and that Republicans are really the friends of black people while the Democrats are the enemies of black people, the first thing I want to do is wrap my two large hands around that Republican’s neck and choke the living shit out of that racist idiot’s and then plant my size 13 foot squarely on that person’s ass. Such claims are not only completely wrong, they are a grievous insult to my intelligence; so much so that I regard being told something like this the equivalent of being called the "n" word and as such when told something like this to my face, it is not possible for my reaction to be anything other than violently explosive and justifiably so.
