Breaking News: Raymond (Ray) Livesay Owner WNCR TV 41 Has Expired

Sources say Ray Livesay Raleigh NC formerly of Rocky Mount NC has expired from a lingering illness. I understand that a celebration of his life will be held on Friday at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral & Cremation Services Rocky Mount NC.

I have been knowing Ray since the early 90’s. I met him and the late Herb Greenberg as they ran WHIG-TV until they busted up.

It is ironic that Herb expired one year ago on May 18, 2014 and Ray expired one year after Herb on May 24, 2015.

WNCR TV 41 is the station that Bronson Williams Movingforward is on Monday – Friday.

When You Forget Who Was And Are There For You

When you forget who was and are there for you, you better recognize and understand that they helped you along the way. You need to understand that you need to be there for them. When you try to be there for other folks whom are temporary and disrespect those whom have been there and is there for you, you will catch hell. You better know who are real and who are in your life for a season. I am so glad that I have a handful full of folks who are and will be there for me and I will be there for them.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day was started by former slaves on May, 1, 1865 in Charleston, SC to honor 257 dead Union Soldiers who had been buried in a mass grave in a Confederate prison camp. They dug up the bodies and worked for 2 weeks to give them a proper burial as gratitude for fighting for their freedom. They then held a parade of 10,000 people led by 2,800 Black children where they marched, sang and celebrated. (Source: Read more)
