Cain: ‘We Need A Leader, Not A Reader’ – Source: TPM

Response: How ignant we need a leader who is a reader because if he don’t read how in the hell can he be knowledgeable of what is going on around them? Again when I think of "Big Daddy Cain" I came up with this quote, "Ignorance will never end. Even those with money can’t buy SENSE!!" Author: Curmilus Dancy II The Political Agitator

Susan Archer of ABC News reports that Cain declared at a campaign event in Nashua, New Hampshire: “We need a leader, not a reader.”

Corroborating the reports that this is something Cain…actually…said, Steve Peoples of the Associated Press also reports Cain saying that knowing every detail is not important: “We need a leader, not a reader.” (Read more)

REPARATIONS

Actually it is not just about all black people it is about enough black people getting into positions of power to make it happen. We can demand and talk about this til the cows come home be it demanding, begging what the hell anyone wants to call it but until we get the power nothing will change.

I don’t have a problem with begging, demanding and whatever for whatever I feel I deserve. Hell yeah I deserve what is rightfully mines but I also recognize and understand that as it stands the demand is there but the power is not.

Although I may not get the demand in my lifetime, I do hope it will come.

Wilson NC – Break-ins prompt meeting with police – Source: Wilson Times

Residents in the Lipscomb Road area neighborhoods voiced their concerns this week to Police Chief Thomas Hopkins concerning the recent break-ins in the area.

More than 50 residents gathered at the South District Police Substation to discuss their fears and concerns about recent events in their neighborhoods. (Paid Content)

Response: I attended the meeting and I am the only one that has the entire meeting on video. The room was packed and people were standing in the hallway. I believe it was more than 75 plus at the meeting. It was a very good meeting. The Chief did a very good job in my opinion.

Well getting ready to use a little common sense. Going to get out of here and go to work to take care of my family. I will use my self-determination to my definition and not others

I will continue to stand up for that which I feel is right and just.

I will continue to fight for black folks even ungreatful Negroes because they will benefit also.

ANYWAY

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

What you spend years building, someone may try to destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them, Anyway.

Think I care because folks don’t like me. I read a quote the other day that said, "I am who I am and nobody said you had to like it."

Now that is what’s up!!

Have a blessed day!
