Herman Cain: ‘How You Beat Obama? Beat Him With A Cain!’ – Source: HuffPost

Fresh off a Wednesday night debate in Michigan, Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain shifted his focus away from his GOP counterparts and onto the president.

Cain remained in the Great Lakes State on Thursday to tour with Tea Party groups. Outside a diner in Ypsilanti, Mich., he coined his latest catchphrase, taking direct aim at President Barack Obama. (Read more)

Penn State abuse scandal chilling in details, reach

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Not far — but seemingly an eternity removed — from the bucolic patch of central Pennsylvania known as Happy Valley, Penn State‘s athletics director and one of the university’s senior executives are to report to a Harrisburg judge today to answer to charges that they lied in the investigation of a series of sexual assaults on young boys. (Read more)

Response: How in the hell did the graduate student who is now an assistant coach there not stop this act? It is no way that I could have walked away while this was happening. How in the hell did the graduate student wait until the next day to tell Coach Paterno?

This is just damn disgusting. Curmilus Dancy II – The Political Agitator

Politics This Week: Because Of The “Big Daddy Cain” Sexual Harassment Accusers In The News, Very Little Conversation On The US Supreme Court Validating Affordable Health Care Act Is Constitutional

Because of the Republican candidate Herman “Big Daddy” Cain being the top story in the news due to being accused of sexual harassment, very little is being said about the US Supreme Court validating that the Affordable Health Care Act is constitutional.

I got so sick and tired of the Republicans and ignant Democrats talking about the Affordable Health Care Act was unconstitutional.

However I know it will start back up again when it sink in that the Affordable Health Care Act was passed under “Our” current President Barack Obama’s administration.

Well I bet that they will try to appeal this too.

NAACP supports efforts to protect children in the criminal justice system

NAACP: Washington Bureau

Within the next week, the House and Senate will decide on funding levels for the next year for two important federal juvenile justice programs – the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA), and the Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG).  Together, these important programs help states help protect the children who have become in contact with the criminal justice system, and these programs try to identify and ease the disproportionate number of racial and ethnic minority children who come in contact with law enforcement.

The NAACP strongly supports the JJDPA and the JABG and thus we urge every member of the U.S. House and Senate to support the proposed Senate funding levels for fiscal year 2012 and to reject the House of Representatives’ proposed cuts to these vital programs.

Action Alert.

Thank you,

Howell, Knight keep seats in Princeville – Source: The Daily Southerner

TARBORO — It appears that Princeville incumbents, Ann Howell and Gwen Knight, will serve as commissioners for at least four more years.

In close races, Howell beat Arthur Manning by eight votes while Knight earned six more votes than her opponent, Ray Powell. Manning and Powell were running for office for the first time. (Read more)

Response: This was interesting, I thought Williams would have received more votes since she ran for mayor during the last election. Curmilus Dancy II – The Political Agitator
