Note: SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars High School Girls Basketball Team has had to play against 8 players in many of their games. It was very obvious that several referees had something against them. The last 2 times the Cougars played Greene Central at Greene Central and then at Tarboro High, the referees were just SORRY. It was very clear they didn’t want the Cougars to win. However the Cougars was able to get by Greene Central to play in the conference playoff game again Beddingfield. The game against Beddingfield was SORRY officiating also.

I strongly feel the Cougars played some good games inspite of the referees and they have no reason to hold their heads down. I hope the referees will call a fair game on Monday night. C. Dancy II – DCN Publisher and Videographer for SouthWest Edgecombe Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball Teams
