Homegoing Celebration For Stoney L. Battle Rocky Mount NC

Stoney was a fine brother and he was the same everytime I seen him. He would always give me some encouraging words when I was in his presence especially when I attended the Rocky Mount City Council meetings and he was working the door and/or the room.

I didn’t know that Stoney and I was the same age until someone told me the other day that they went to school together and they came out in 1981. Now reading this I seen he was born on the day before Christmas in 1962 and I was born the next day Christmas Day 1962 and also graduated in 1981.
