Be True To Yourself! You Can Post All You Want But Folk Know You

We can post all we want on Social Media but folk know who we are so we better be true to ourselves. We can’t be true to others before we are true to ourselves! Curmilus Butch Dancy II 9/6/2021

Must Be True To Yourself Before You Can Be True To Others! Impacting The Broken Child Is When You Really Become Great!

When one takes a broken child from a broken home and impact them, then you have really have really done something. But to talk about taking a child who comes from a solid foundation but have chosen to stray away is a different kind of broken. It is about like bringing up a child in church but when they stray away they are reachable if they choose to humble themselves and respect those who are reaching out to them. One thing that comes to mind when it comes to reaching a child and taking credit for the skills a child has as a their mentor, teacher, coach, preacher or whatever when the child came to you with the skills. You can receive the credit for providing them a place to use their skills and helping them enhance them but to take credit for their skills is not being true to oneself. I Hear You But Are You Living What You Are Talking?

I hear you talking but are you really living and doing what you are talking?

I hear people talking all the time but I also know they are not living what they are talking.

Be true to yourself!

Black Folk Be True To Yourself

Folk stop perpetuating because folk know you.

I am who I am and do not pretend to be anybody and anything other than.

I see folk all the time pretending to be all about that but then they forget that they have another side that they choose to leave out.

What tickles the hell out of me is how folk take all of the glory when folk recognize them for the good they have done. Well that is fine however the problem I have is folk need to 1st acknowledge that they have made some mistakes while accepting the glory, but to not say anything, I just can’t.

One of the problems I have had in the Black Community is the recognition of some folk who have worked against progress in the Black Community while do just enough by playing it safe. Now they don’t have to say what they have done but just admitting they have some flaws, I can accept that.  But to take the glory as if they have been truly about what is good for Black folk, I along with some others know that is not so.

Black folk come out when the action has been completed, the cameras or rolling and etc. but when the work is being done they are nowhere to be found because they are playing it safe.

When I leave home daily a red flag goes up because I have a whole wife, 1 and a whole family so I will not bring shame to them. I can relate to the above so I don’t worry about anybody trying to discredit me. Hell they been trying to do that since the 80’s.

I am who I am! I am true to myself and true to others. How about you?
