The Political Agitator’s response: Damn as always some gonna try to put a twist on the charges by the State’s Attorney. Now she painted a good picture detailing why she did what she did so I am convinced she is sincere about what she presented today. Six officers charged 3 white and 3 black. Interesting the black van driver has been charged with the heaviest charge but the 2 whites were the root cause of the reason why Freddie Gray was in custody. If the driver had had remembered his duty was to protect and serve, he would have been concerned with the safety of Freddie Gray.

Baltimore Maryland: State Attorney Marilyn Mosby Said There Will Be Charges Against Lawlessness During The Rioting

State Attorney Marilyn Mosby said there will be charges against those whom broke laws by burning homes, buildings, cars and etc. She said she understand their anger but they must pay for breaking the law. As I have stated before if those whom are committing the crimes during the rioting is willing to pay the price then so be it, however I don’t think they thought that part through.

Well it appears justice will be served at all angles beginning with the root cause up to the reactions. Folks got to understand that 2 wrongs don’t make a right and if they want to participate in the wrong, then they better be ready to pay the price. I ain’t ready when it comes to nonsense.

Today young folks need to understand that there are possibilities out here no matter how hard it seems. Look at the prime example on this day May 1, 2015 when a young 35 year old, youngest state prosecutor in any state was on national tv making one of the most profound statements in history. She acknowledged that she was young and said to young folks there is “HOPE!”

As a 52 year old black man, today made me happy because I get so sick and tired of seeing all of the negative about black folks in the news as if there are not any good black folks. In Baltimore a black Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake and then to see a black State Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby has shown the world that there are black professionals however we should not be ignant to the fact that we know there are many more.

And I don’t want to leave the black lady that was head of the national guard that put the troops on the street, can’t think of her name at the moment.

Folks that is why you must vote! We must vote good folks in office to do what is right! Mosby was elected by the people and she stated that!

A criminal prosecution for murder will be brought over the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, the city’s top prosecutor announced on Friday morning.

State’s attorney Marilyn Mosby said Gray’s death was a homicide. Officer Caesar Goodson was charged with second-degree murder, while charges including manslaughter and misconduct in public office were brought against five other officers.

A Baltimore man has come forward to talk about his April 12 ride in a police van with Freddie Gray, saying in an interview that he heard his fellow prisoner briefly making noise on the other side of a metal barrier.

“All I heard was a little banging for like four seconds,” 22-year-old Donte Allen told local NBC affiliate WBAL. “I just heard a little banging.”

Gray suffered spinal injuries while in custody, and died a week later. His death sparked citywide protests that devolved into rioting and looting Monday. (Source: Read more)

BALTIMORE (AP) — The highest-ranking Baltimore police officer in the arrest that led to Freddie Gray’s death was hospitalized in April 2012 over mental health concerns for an unknown duration and had his guns confiscated by local sheriff’s deputies, according to records from the sheriff’s office and court obtained by The Associated Press.

Lt. Brian Rice, who initially pursued Gray on a Baltimore street when Gray fled after Rice made eye contact April 12, declared three years ago that he “could not continue to go on like this” and threatened to commit an act that was censored in the public version of a report obtained by the AP from the Carroll County, Maryland, Sheriff’s Office. Rice lived in the county, about 35 miles northwest of Baltimore. Update: According to a Washington Post article, an “anonymous prisoner” is quoted by an “anonymous police investigator” stating, “Freddie Gray was intentionally trying to injure himself in van”. Really…we’re all supposed to believe that Freddie Gray broke his own neck and almost severed his own spine while trashing around in the van semi-conscious, …in light of the fact that he couldn’t even enter the van under his own power?

In this investigation, “Davis said Thursday that police discovered a new stop the van made with Gray in it, but they did not say what happened. Davis said the stop was found through footage from a privately owned camera.” Oh well! One lie could lead to more so here we go!

 

BALTIMORE — Baltimore police have completed their investigation into the death of Freddie Gray and turned over their findings to prosecutors – one day earlier than the department’s self-imposed deadline, the commissioner said Thursday morning.

Authorities have said the state’s attorney’s office will review the information, consider charges and decide how to move forward in the death of Gray, who was stopped by police April 12. He suffered spinal injuries while in custody and died a week later.

In his announcement at a news conference, Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts did not give details of the report or take questions. He said the department dedicated more than 30 detectives to working on the case and report. (Source: Read more)

The Baltimore city government reacted by adopting a residential segregation ordinance, restricting African Americans to designated blocks. Explaining the policy, Baltimore’s mayor proclaimed, “Blacks should be quarantined in isolated slums in order to reduce the incidence of civil disturbance, to prevent the spread of communicable disease into the nearby White neighborhoods, and to protect property values among the White majority.”

Thus began a century of federal, state, and local policies to quarantine Baltimore’s black population in isolated slums—policies that continue to the present day, as federal housing subsidy policies still disproportionately direct low-income black families to segregated neighborhoods and away from middle class suburbs. Citizen videographer says police folded Freddie Gray like a "piece of origami" – The Baltimore Sun

Kevin Moore was asleep in his home the morning of April 12, when his uncle yelled to him: “The police are tazing Freddie.”

Moore, 28, ran out of his home in the same Gilmor Homes complex where Freddie Gray was arrested and sprinted across the street to get a view of what was happening.

“Once I got around to see where Freddie was, I instantly started recording,” Moore said.

Hell the best title for me would be just to call them criminals but that would not be putting a face with the title.

The word “thug” in the media has long been a euphemism for Black people, often used by those who fail to consider the marginalization and disenfranchisement of Black communities in the face of unrest, as seen in Baltimore as of late.

So when CNN host Erin Burnett tried to justify the use of the word to describe young teenagers who clashed with Baltimore police Monday, Baltimore City Councilman Carl Stokes kept it 100 percent real.

“Just call them niggers,” he said, obviously exasperated by Burnett’s insistence that this was the right term for 13-18 year-old kids.

Burnett, citing both Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and President Obama‘s use of the term as justification, tried, unsuccessfully, to appeal to Stokes that it was appropriate, no matter the age of the children. (Source: Read more)

Baltimore Maryland: Funny As Hell That Any Other Time This Mother Would Have Been Looked At As Child Abuse!

Wow!

We get so caught up in what others say but do we think for ourselves?

Any other time this would have been considered child abuse!

Ya’ll keep on allowing folks to mislead, misinform and to take your eyes off the real issue at hand because “they” seize the moment to make the situation what they want it to be when they want it to be.

I tell you I don’t know why all conscious folks are not angry about what is going on around us locally and nationwide. Until all of us recognize that “Black Lives Matter” we will continue to deal with these ignant situations that involved law enforcement.

Because of all of this ignant mess going on involving law enforcement that seems to leave so much room for doubt that the truth is being made known, “I Can’t Breathe!”
