The deadline for registering to run in the 2009 Municipal Elections ended today at 12 noon.

Note: I have been told that Blackwell (Rocky Mount City Council Ward 2) has opposition from a Nash County resident. Some of Ward 2 is in Nash County. I heard his opposition is Janice Gravely. You may contact the Nash County Board of Elections Office for a listing of the Nash County Candidates.
