Folk Don’t Appreciate Trues And Therefore They Don’t Appreciate Me

You know it is sickening when folk try to give you good advice and they say they are listening but they do ignant mess anyway. Folk like that are dangerous.

It is sad when politics makes folk ignant especially when they have no clue about what they are doing but want to sound intelligent. Folk let their book sense get in the way of common sense. But at the end of the day when the party is over common sense will kick in and they will see that they should have listened to the voices of truth and wisdom versus the noise.

See they like the noise because they think it is popular but popularity is not always where the focus need to be. When folk know the whole trues and know the culture of the people and politics, they will understand they ran on the noise and not because of what they really bring to the table. It is a difference when one run and has no opposition versus when their is opposition especially when the opposition is the incumbent.

We are living in a time when Black folk are winning more offices and you have some Black haters who are joining with some White haters who have a problem with many boards, commissions, department heads and others in high places being a majority Black. The White haters are sitting back watching Black haters go after their own because they support them over the incumbent.

It is sad that some young folk think they are doing something when they have not done anything to deserve a seat at the table. They are running off trying to discredit the incumbent with half-trues because they are following the noise.

Well while Black haters are turning up the White haters noise, I am going to add some bass. I been around and I know the candidates and I refuse to be silent. I have put in the time and resources dating back to the late 80’s serving the county as a community and political activist and I will not stop now.

I have no permanent friends no permanent enemies only permanent interest!

Continue to turn up the volume the noise is loud and clear but when the music stops.

This Is Happening In Rocky Mount And Some Black Folk Think Some White Folk Like Them, They Don’t Like Your Opponent, They Don’t Give A Damn About You!

You think you are that one but just like they thought Rocky Mount City Councilman Richard Joyner Ward 3 was going to carry out their agenda, they got fooled. But some others don’t have the foundation that Richard has so they are dangerous. They putting out half-trues and just all over the place. I am watching what they are saying and I just shake my damn head twice, the 1st time because of who are talking and the 2nd time because of the folk who read it and say nothing. Yep folk are entitled to run against Richardff but they ain’t entitled to telling half-trues and lies when it comes to other folk. I am tired of looking at folk sideways because got my head hurting. But there is a remedy. I am going to hold everybody accountable because I ain’t going to allow folk to mislead folk playing with folk livelihood.

Rocky Mount Telegram Councilman hospitalized after accident

The DCN News Blog Online TV response: I have been waiting for the media and social media posts about this incident. I learned of Knight’s incident the day after it occurred. It was reported in the Spring Hope Enterprise that the incident was from a collapsed roof. However I was told that it was not a collapsed roof. I have been waiting for the ignant comments because I knew they were coming. It is sad when folk can’t put their petty differences aside during a time when something is of a serious nature. As far as I know I echo Blackwell’s comments that Knight is in good condition. He is on the road to recovery. I too have no details to report nor share because that should come from the man himself. It is sad that the report can’t be done without adding all of the negatives but that comes with the territory when you are an Elected Official and especially a strong Black Voice. But even if the haters are wishing Knight a speedy recover, how do you trust that? I know I would not if I was in his position dealing with his accident. But I can’t speak for him unless he gives me that right. So in the meantime I will support him in his recovery and this too will pass.

Questions are circulating in the community about whether City Councilman Andre Knight is OK physically right now and whether he will be OK in the long term, but no specific information has been provided to the Telegram via official channels.

Knight reportedly was injured in a fall at a downtown building, sources familiar with the incident told the Telegram.

Knight was listed Friday as a patient in good condition at WakeMed in Raleigh, Teresa Moss, an executive assistant in WakeMed’s marketing department, told the newspaper.

Knight could not be reached by the newspaper via text messaging.

Councilman Reuben Blackwell told the newspaper in a text message that Knight being in good condition is a great report “and we all wish him well and pray for a speedy recovery.

“I’m sure he’s grateful that so many people are interested in his health and well-being,” Blackwell said.

Otherwise, Blackwell said, “I have no details to report or share.”

The Spring Hope Enterprise reported that Knight suffered serious injuries as a result of having been involved in an accident at a downtown building involving a collapsing roof, but that the specific location of the incident is not immediately clear.

Mayor Sandy Roberson, reached by phone by the Telegram, said he had been hearing some rumblings in the community that Knight had been hurt, but that he had no confirmation of anything along such lines until he saw the Enterprise’s story.

“Of course, I hate for anybody to get hurt. I hate for anybody to get hurt,” Roberson said.

Roberson said he hopes Knight has a speedy recovery.

Overall, Roberson said of what reportedly happened, “I haven’t vetted it out. I don’t know what I don’t know.” (Read more)
