Call for Papers/Invited Session Proposals

Call for Papers:  Abstracts of 300 to 500 words currently being reviewed.  Deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended through January.  Notice of acceptance has commenced and will continue through January 31 . Abstracts will be screened carefully to ensure that papers reflect the theme of the conference. Please submit resume with abstract/proposal.

Topics of Consideration (but not limited to):

  • Empowerment of the Black Family
  • Globalization of the Black Family
  • The Black Man/Woman: Single Parent
  • Health & Wellness of the Black Family
  • Spousal Abuse in the Black Family
  • The "Changing" Extended Family
