Y’all Better Understand They Don’t Give A Damn About You!

I look at some folk sideways because I see they are trying to make folk mad with other folk because it is something they want.

I respond to what folk say and they get mad because they are used to folk not saying anything. But see that was because I was in their circle not so much as a friend but as an associate. Now that I ain’t a part of their circle the game changed.

Rev. Roosevelt Higgs I Hope This Is A Wake Up Call Because The Time Is Now To Get It Right

It is a damn shame that folk want to make Rev. Roosevelt Higgs to be outstanding when it comes politics.

Last Saturday Higgs got a wake up call so I am going to see how he move forward.

Since the late 80’s when I became actively engaged in politics, I can not think of one thing Rev. Roosevelt Higgs has done in support of elected officials other other than supporting Rev. Thomas L. Walker as he was a runner for the Edgecombe Nash Black Political Caucus. Higgs have said a many of times that the Democratic Party was not doing the work, but it was the ENBPC. He also was former Senator Clark Jenkins runner when he and the ENBPC supported Jenkins when the Senate District 3 was newly formed for Black representation. Former County Commissioner Patricia Ferguson of Hertford County wanted the seat but got blackballed. Yes we knew she was going to be cut out of the district after the 1st 2 years of but it would have been easier to replace the Black female with a Black person but nope they got Jenkins in and he stayed forever until a Black Female Erica Smith beat him out after he served for a decade.

Higgs has been lying about his residency since the 99 Flood of the Century saying he lived in Speed but he challenged Andre Knight residency when he ran for Rocky Mount City Council as he teamed up with Gladys Shelton former Board Of Elections Chair, WHIG-TV and some other Racist White Folk. Knight won a lawsuit against Higgs and Edgecombe County.

Just to name a few Higgs did not support Sheriff James Knight Retired in the 90’s nor the current Sheriff Cleveland Clee Atkinson around 5 years ago however I could name more.

I have challenged Higgs every since the late 80’s and has had to file charges in the courts for sending my wife photos of me at meetings that he took and harassing phone calls twice.

I had been trying to get Higgs removed from the party over the years because many especially those in his precinct and in his political circle know that he has done nothing but kept mess stirred up within the Edgecombe County Democratic Party. But then he finally showed the NC State Democratic Party just how he has been operating over the years. So last year he was finally removed from the party for 2 years which should have been for life.

Higgs has been very disrespectful in the Democratic Party especially to women Black and White, myself and others that challenged his motives. I refuse to be silent when we have folk like Higgs misleading folk daily.

Because I have challenged him over the years I have had to file charges against him for calling my phone leaving harassing and vulgar voicemails. He knew that voicemails are recordings so that let you know he didn’t give a damn and he meant to do it over and over again. He has done some females in the Democratic Party the same way.

Higgs has been on WHIG-TV and WNCR TV (News You Can Use) trying to discredit Black Leadership daily.

But I don’t fought Higgs for his mess because some Blacks have promoted his mess and created the monster he is. So whoever like it, I love it! But I will continue to challenge his mess forever.

I am glad Higgs is recovering from his injuries from the altercation with his son this past weekend. But I am going to see if that will be a wake up call for him because he has mistreated his ex-wife my former school teacher, his siblings and other family members.

I don’t feel sorry for what I hope should be a wake up call for him because the bible says you reap what you sow for all of those whom want to talk bible when it is convenient for them. I am glad it was not anyone outside of his family that is responsible for the wake up call. Somebody in the family even joked to me that Higgs probably thought it was me beating up on him and that if his son had not been locked up folk would think that I was responsible for the wake up call.

I don’t understand why folk have a problem with the newspaper article about Higgs and his son because Higgs is a public figure so it was worthy of a front page story by linking Higgs to Democratic Party and then talked about his criminal activity. The article made it looked like Higgs Sr. was the suspect and not the victim. But that is what the papers do, they are in the business to sell papers.

Rocky Mount City Councilmembers Reuben Blackwell and especially Andre Knight have been publicly verbally assaulted by Higgs, Samuel Battle, Racist White Folk and the Telegram over the years so where is the outcry?

It is time out for folk to stop picking and choosing what they want to talk about when it comes to certain folk. I don’t care if you don’t like certain folk but show the same energy when it comes to all folk.

So for anyone that has a problem with what I said, I said what I said and this is what I have been doing since the late 80’s and there is more to come. Folk need to know the whole trues when it comes to the political culture of some of these Black folk who act as if they have been and are now all about what is good for Black Folk. I am so glad I know all the players then and now. I will challenge all of them. They don’t want to hear these trues!

I am for justice no matter who it is for or against!
