Wilson County Voter Alert – Voter Not Given A Ballot During Drive Up Handicap Accessible Service During Early/One Stop Voting

It has been reported to The DCN News Blog Online TV that a voter went to an Early/One Stop voter location in Wilson NC and he signed a paper but was not given a ballot.

A family member asked the voter did he see all the candidates on the ballot and he said he didn’t have to check off any names. The family member told him that he didn’t vote then.

The family member and the voter called the Wilson NC Board Of Elections and told them what happened and the BOE employee told them to come back to the location that he thought he had voted. It was confirmed that he had not voted and the person working the polls along with the BOE employee apologized.

I am concerned about this because I wonder how many voters have experienced this and is this something that may have happened at other voter locations not only in Wilson but abroad.

I will be contacting the Edgecombe County Board of Elections via email and calling them to ask them to make sure this is not happening in Edgecombe County.
