Sources say Bronson Williams showed up today to see how the Board of Elections were going to respond to the complaint that was filed by someone saying they received the wrong ballot. The person who filed the complaint did not show up.
The Board of Elections met to see if they would accept the complaint in order to have a hearing however it was denied for the lack of information and also that one ballot would not change the outcome of the elections.
Sources say Bronson said the Board of Elections didn’t handle the situation right. The Board of Elections Director, the 5 member board 3 Democrats and 2 Republicans and the County Attorney were present.
It appears that Bronson attended the meeting playing the same game that his good friend and mentor Rev. Roosevelt Higgs did when attempted to represent Calvin Sherrod who filed a complaint around 3 months ago challenging the residency of Rev. Alvin Jones a Princeville Commissioner. The board asked Higgs was he an attorney and that since he was not that he could not represent Sherrod. Higgs was escorted out of the meeting by 2 Edgecombe County Deputies. During that meeting a hearing was denied.
Rev. Higgs was kicked out of the Edgecombe County Democratic Party for 2 years by the NC Democratic Party Council Of Review. Since that time there was a vacancy on the Council of Review and Gwen Wilkins was seeking the appointment but after she was seeking the appointment to replace the late Mary Wells Nash County Commissioner she and Bronson got together and he was appointed to the Council of Review. When we had a meeting nobody knew anything about the Council of Review vacancy but I learned he had contacted the former Edgecombe County Democratic Party Chair Leshaun Jenkins and during the meeting Bronson was elected. But damn he served as the 3rd Vice Chair of the Edgecombe County Democratic Party and done ab so damn lute ly nothing under Higgs and then when Jenkins took his seat. He didn’t even work with Jenkins and Jenkins had to do Bronson’s job as 3rd Vice. In my opinion he need to be removed from the Council of Review because they hear complaints brought before them and Bronson has shown he ain’t the one to be sitting on the Council of Review in my opinion. The Council of Review is the body that removed Higgs from the Democratic Party and his 2 year removable is still in going on.
Sources say Bronson filed a complaint today for the same reason that saying some folk didn’t get the right ballot. But he can’t speak for them folk they have to file. So it appears he filed so now he will go on TV Monday The Daily Noise Show and try to recruit folk to say they got the wrong ballot.
It is time for Bronson Williams to go some damn where and sit down and shut the hell up. He has kept and allowed enough noise over the past 2 years campaigning and giving some folk like Rev. Roosevelt Higgs, Alice Davis and some other an outlet to attempt to discredit Black Leadership. Folk y’all better wake the hell up and see that The Daily Noise Show is doing nothing is not good for the Black Community.
As I have stated if it was not for Ray and Andre oh where would he be? Ray died and Bronson has the show. The TV Station is in The Knight Family building. Hell he has allowed Higgs and others to attempt to discredit Andre. Oh don’t forget it was Higgs that filed a residency challenge against Andre nearly 20 years ago and the county had to pay Andre’s attorney fees.
It is a damn shame that Bronson has played right into Rev. Higgs hands. Oh and by the way Higgs live in Nash County right down from Key Foods and the Stockyard but has been claiming he lived in Edgecombe County especially during the time he went before the Council of Review.
It is a damn shame that the Edgecombe County Board of Elections had scheduled meetings for Thursday May 26 and Friday May 27 to validate and certify the May 17 Election and had to deal with this foolishness.

I wonder why the person with the problem did not show up. Certainly, they had something to say or was Bronson supposed to speak for them? Seems like someone is seeking some attention because I wouldn’t believe that my one vote would overturn the current status or warrant a new election. To err is human. Humans make mistakes, I had high hopes for Bronson as did many others.
