As the father of three girls, I am not interested in defending a standard racist, statutory rapist, child molester or sexual predator.  I don’t even like fellow college professors who think it’s O.K. to sleep with their students (I lost respect for a colleague over a case like this a few years ago).  But I also believe in justice, and making sure that we know all the facts before convicting someone in public.
