The accused suspect in the murder of Tavon Clark was arrested Friday evening around 5 PM.
A Pinetops man J’Von Charmorris Coley was arrested Friday evening by the Rocky Mount Police Department after a warrant was issued by the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held in the Edgecombe County Detention Center under no bond on chargers of first-degree murder and gang activity.
Tavon Clark was found dead on Tuesday evening around 3 PM after gun shots were reported in Princeville NC on Neville Street.
James Knight Edgecombe County Sheriff of the entirely county said that the investigation into the case remains ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 641-7911.
