Rocky Mount NC – Tarrick Pittman Has Filed An Election Protest Against Andre Knight With The Edgecombe County Board Of Elections To Be Heard On Monday October 21, 2019

Funny this guy has has not posted about he has filed an Election Protest against Andre Knight with the Edgecombe County Board of Elections. There will be a preliminary hearing held in the Board of Elections Office on Monday at 4 PM.

Tarrick Pittman lost to Andre Knight in the Ward 1 Rocky Mount City Council Election.

Damn this guy just don’t want to give up.

But the thing about all of this is hell Andre Knight and any citizen could have and still can file a residency challenge against Tarrick Pittman because the evidence is there that his residency could be challenged. This ignant ought to be on the edge that someone do not challenge him.

I received a phone call a couple of days before the election and I said no need to worry about doing it now you need to just wait til after the election and do it if Tarrick should win.

Well maybe those folk need to go ahead and file a residency challenge against him since he want to keep the election going.

Johnny Cunningham had talked to me about filing a residency challenge against him some time ago and I told him to hold off and let someone else do it.

Hell if we had an effective Edgecombe County Democratic Party where Rev. Roosevelt Higgs is the chair, he should have filed a challenge however he can’t do it because he lives in Nash County and has not had a Democratic Party meeting since he was voted in as chair in April.

Hell I may even file a residency challenge against this ignant because I am sick and tired of reading on Social Media where Special Cs are supporting a known criminal over someone they have been trying to paint as a criminal when they have not provided any facts.

The facts are out on Tarrick’s residency changes because in March 2019 in the newspaper he talked about moving to Edgecombe County over a year ago but his voter’s registration shows he voted in Nash County in November 2018. He said he lived on Woodland Ave.

Then he went down to the Edgecombe County Board of Elections and changed his address to Rosewood Ave. Sources say he never lived there.

If proven that Tarrick has lied about his residency this is a Felony Violation.

Well I am going to sit back and see when Tarrick residency will be challenged. I know if I lived in Rocky Mount hell I would have been filed it.

Fact Check That!

Report Back! I’ll Wait!

Now Run & Tell That!

Democrats Of Edgecombe County You Better Get Involved – Updated

Edgecombe County Democrats May 16, 2017

The Edgecombe County Board of Elections meeting will be held 5:00 PM in the Edgecombe County Administration Building Board of Elections Office and this is where Edgecombe County Democrats need to be with all of the mess that former Republican Governor Pat McCrory put in place trying to change the make up of the Board of Elections since the Republicans are in majority. The mess was and is to try to limit the power of our current Democratic Governor Roy Cooper.

Meeting date/location changed see Tuesday May 23 below: At 6:00 PM the Edgecombe County Democratic Party is meeting in Rocky Mount on the campus of Edgecombe Community College and during this meeting 3 names will need to be voted upon to be sent to the NC State Democratic Party and 2 names will be chosen to serve on our local Edgecombe County Board of Elections. It would have been good to have the Democratic Party meeting in Tarboro in the Administration Bldg. and we could have went down stairs to the Board of Elections Meetings.

All registered Democrats of Edgecombe County if you are interested in serving with Dr. Florence Arnold Armstrong on the Board of Elections you need to make it known and to attend the meeting on May 16 in Rocky Mount. It would be good if you would go by the Board of Elections meeting in Tarboro.

Tarboro NC – Edgecombe County Board of Elections Meeting

The Edgecombe County Board of Elections monthly board meeting will be held on Tuesday September 20, 2016 5:00 PM 4th floor in the board of elections office. Please attend so you can hear the report from the actions taken by the North Carolina State Board of Elections during the hearing of the plans presented to them for the One-Stop sites for Edgecombe County.

Since the board is a Republican majority the plan that they voted on was not a majority, the Democratic member Dr. Florence A. Armstrong presented a plan and her plan was approved by the State Board of Elections. There was a teleconference meeting on yesterday to correct a type over.

The Edgecombe County Board of Elections meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 PM.

I will be attending and requesting that the board update the Edgecombe Board of Elections website because right now it is a hot mess and is not user friendly. For a board of this magnitude it makes no sense that the website has not been updated for several years.

Tarboro NC – Edgecombe County Board Of Elections Votes On Early Voting Sites/Hours Meeting Out Of Control

image

Click on photo of chair to watch video

The Edgecombe County Board of Elections met on Tuesday August 16, 2016 5 PM and was one of the most out of control meetings I have attended in quite some time. The board is made up of 2 Republicans a white female, a white male (chair) and 1 Democrat a black female.

The meetings was opened by the members present because the chair arrived a little late.

Public comments are at the beginning of the meeting and it began with Rev. Dr. Thomas L. Walker addressing the board followed by several of us. But the meeting was to vote on early voting sites/hours so the discussion took place during the entire meeting along with the public comments although the public comments were not supposes to have been entertained during the whole meeting. However it was good because it helped with the discussion of the board.

Watch video to see just how ignant this meeting was. Totally out of control. See it for yourself and make your own decision.

Board of Elections Website Edgecombe County Has One Of The Worst Damn Websites I Have Seen

The Edgecombe County Board of Elections website is one of the worst I have seen in a long time. Damn with all of the issues surrounding new changes to the election process atleast the website ought to be user friendly. Not! Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think and you don’t have to live in Edgecombe County. Click here to view website.

Now click here to check out the Nash County Website. Nash County site is very user friendly and looks damn good!

Open Letter to Attorney William Solomon Chair Edgecombe County Democratic Party

I am disappointed in your leadership as the Democratic Party Chair. I supported you several years ago when you became the Young Democrats President of the Edgecombe County Democratic Party. Andre Knight and myself reached out to you and said we would work with you however you did nothing the whole time you held the position. On last year I voted for you over Rev. Roosevelt Higgs, one because you are younger than I and I am younger than Higgs. I was hoping you were going to do something to bring some young folks on board and to bring us up to the 21st Century by communicating with us via technology.

You know I have been bringing up about the lack of communication and not receiving information per internet while the Edgecombe County Democratic Party is not in session. The party should be keeping local Dems abreast of what is going on. You have received our email addresses but no information about what is going on in the political atmosphere.

Since your tenure as the DPC you have not been effective. It appears you didn’t allow the secretary to do her job and for that reason she has resigned. Several folks on the county executive committee says they have not received anything from you since you have been the chair. Well actually they should hear from you via the secretary as it relates to meetings. I could tell the secretary was not doing the mailings because I continue to get another precinct chair’s mailings that you and your law firm office sends out as it relates to the party meetings. I have had to deliver 2 letters to this precinct chair because on the envelope with his name on it, it has my address on it. However the previous chair did the same.

Over the past year there has been much going as it relates to politics and much to report on as it relates to bills in the NC General Legislature things that the NC Republican Party is doing that seems to be taking us back instead of forward.

I understand the secretary Viola Harris tendered her resignation almost 30 days ago and you have not scheduled a meeting to replace her.

You knew Shelly Willingham was going to resign from the Edgecombe County Board of Elections Office so that he could file to run for the House 23 seat currently held by Rep. Joe Pat Tolson.

You have received the information from the NC State Democratic Party to pass on to the Precinct Chairs so they can have their meetings.

You have a full agenda for a meeting so I don’t understand why you haven’t called a meeting. The meeting you held in January was a waste of time because we have always met in the beginning of the year after the State Executive Committee (SEC) meets and the precinct packages are prepared.

Mr. Chair you need to call a meeting and/or resign your post because obviously you either don’t have time or don’t care about the Edgecombe County Democratic Party.

Sincerely yours,

Curmilus Dancy II

Edgecombe County: Breaking News: Democratic Positions Open Because Willingham Resigned From The County Board of Elections And Harris Tendered Her Resignation As Party Secretary

First of all my question should be are you aware that the Edgecombe County Board of Elections have a vacancy because Shelly Willingham has stepped down as the Democratic representative? Willingham filed to run for the office of the House District 23 seat.

The Edgecombe County Democratic Party Executive Committee must call a meeting to vote to appoint someone to fill the seat. Any Democrat can seek the appointment. See the NC Democratic Party Plan of Organization Section 2.06 County Board of Elections to see how the appointment to be filled. If you have any questions contact the county chair William Solomon or you many contact me.

If you want to seek the appointment do you know that you need to try to contact the folks on the Executive Committee stating your interest. However names can be submitted from the floor during the meeting also.

I am a precinct chair so therefore I am a voting member and my precinct has several votes.

I have been in some discussion with the chair and a couple of folks and I am waiting on the meeting date to be announced so that we can fill the seat as soon as possible. Willingham resigned on Monday. A 7 day notice is in order to call a meeting and I am not aware of a meeting date. Why? Time is of essence because we don’t need the Edgecombe County Board of Elections meeting without a Democratic Representative. The board meets every 3rd Tuesday and they have a meeting this coming Tuesday. It appears that we will have no Democratic Rep. so therefore Democrats need to attend the meeting. I have attended the BOE meetings over the years but I don’t attend them during basketball season because I volunteer videoing high school basketball games. The last game was suppose to be this past Friday but due to the snow, we have about 4 games to make up.

It has been brought to my attention that the Secretary Viola Harris has tendered her resignation. So therefore the party need to meet to replace the Secretary, Board of Elections Representative and so the Precincts can receive the Precinct Packages that has been issued to the County Chairs by the State Executive Committee.

See NC Democratic Party Plan of Organization Section 2.03 Officers of the County Executive Committee to replace the secretary.

I am waiting patiently for a meeting to be called but if the Chair William Solomon does not call one soon, then the County Executive Officers Gladys Shelton, Robert Byrd and Martha Johnson need to call a meeting.

Tarboro NC: Board of Elections has seat to fill – Daily Southerner

TARBORO — While the Edgecombe County Board of Elections prepares for the May Primary, it must focus on a more pressing need — filling a vacant seat.

The Democratic Party seat became vacant Monday when Shelly Willingham handed his resignation to elections board director Jerry Spruell.

Willingham, who had served on the board for four years, then joined the other side of elections board ledger when he filed for run for the N.C House of Representatives District 23 seat. – See more at: http://www.dailysoutherner.com/local/x1708327485/Board-of-Elections-has-seat-to-fill#sthash.yswfskOq.dpuf
