The class of 1987 is hosting a 1980’s (anyone graduating from SouthWest in the 80’s) SWE Class Reunion scheduled for the 2nd wk’end of April. Please spread the word and govern yourselves by the itinerary below:
Itinerary:
Theme: We are blessed to have a "COUGAR" connection
Friday: April 12, 2013 (Meet & Greet/Fish Fry)
Where: TBA
Time: Starting @ 5
*Indoor and Outside Fellowship (bring your lawn chairs)*
Activities: card & board games, reminising, door & game (bingo)prizes, music, etc.
Casual/Open Dress
Saturday: April 13, 2013 (Family Day)
Where: TBA
Time: 9am-1pm
*Outside Team Activities*
Saturday: April 13, 2013 (Banquet/Dance)
Where: TBA
Time: 7pm (Food will be served for an hour starting at 7:30pm)

Semi-Formal Dress (NO JEANS, SNEAKERS, TIMS, SPORTSGEAR, ETC)
A raffle (funds will go towards 1980’s SWE Scholarship for as many SWE Seniors as possible) will be done; tokens/Awards/gifts will be given to those who (1) traveled the furtherest, youngest child; classmate swthearts married the longest, first to send fee, classmates who made history, classmate on the same one job the longest; most children, classmate politician, the class with the most attendee’s, etc.*
Dance: Starting at 9pm
*Bring your own brown bag*
Sunday: April 14, 2013 (Worship & farewell light serving)

*This fee will cover the entire wkend. Despite how many events/activities one attends, it’s still the same fee coverage per person*
*Alumni Denise Battle will create a Souvenior Booklet that will include family pics or individual pics that will include: (1) location (2) academics/accomplishments; (3) business/careers/promotion; (4) family/significant other introduction; (5) retirements; (6) hobbies; (7) volunteerism; (8) organizations, etc. THIS INFORMATION IS DUE ON OR BEFORE MARCH 31, 2013 AND SHOULD BE EMAILED TO swe80salumni@yahoo.com. If you don’t do email/attachments, you can send the above typed up along with your money order.
We would love to have teachers attend our 80’s class reunion, so if you have a favorite teacher that you would like to invite, please email his/her information as soon as possible to swe80salumni@yahoo.com. Please send the name, email address or mailing address. We would like to get the invitation out quickly;
