First, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said that he thought President Barack Obama didn’t love America. He made the comments while speaking to a crowd of conservatives at a private dinner, saying, “I do not believe— and I know this is a horrible thing to say— but I do not believe that the President loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”
Almost immediately, there was a strong reaction— both in support of and against the comments. One of the most outspoken people against Giuliani’s thoughts on the President so far has been Minister Louis Farrakhan, who didn’t hold back when letting Giuliani know what he thought of his remarks. Repsonse: Okay so what do Black folks want "Our" President to say to the people in Chicago? The problem I have seen in North Carolina (Edgecombe County) there have been Black folks who have lived off the backs of other Black folks who have had organizations that suppose to have dealt with things that affect our Black Communities but they did nothing. We are the blame because we allowed them to get away with it. So now let’s hold the President accountable to save the world. Nope don’t agree with everything "Our" President says and does however I much have him in office in this season than to have someone else in office who wants to take us back. I am all for holding "Our" President accountable and I have no problem with this request.
Minister Louis Farrakhan, in a compelling address to President Barack Obama, made a plea to the president to consider coming to Chicago to see about the families of those who’ve been victimized by the astonishing epidemic of gun violence in the city over the past several years. Farrakhan, who lives in the same south side neighborhood as Obama, asked the president to do the same for the victims of Chicago that he did for the families in Newtown, Connecticut who were struck by the horribly unfortunate Sandy Hook School shooting.
