19 Times Democrats Tried to Negotiate With Republicans

To hear almost any Republican lawmaker speak in post-shutdown Washington is to hear that Democrats are refusing to negotiate to reopen the government and avert a debt default. It’s a talking point that may be selling well, but it’s only true if you ignore anything that happened before last Monday at about 11 p.m.

Republicans think they’ve hit talking-point gold with the message, as we learned from a candid "hot mic" moment last week when Sen. Rand Paul privately told fellow Kentuckian Mitch McConnell that he didn’t think Democrats had "poll-tested" the "awful" message. " ‘It’s my way or the highway.’ That’s what he’s saying. Incarcerated and want to vote.

If you know someone that meets the following they can vote.

The people that are incarcerated, 18 and older, have not committed a felony, do they still have the right to vote if they are registered voters? Yes!

What about those that have committed a felony but have not been convicted, d

o they have the right to vote. Yes!

If so, are they required to vote as absentee ballot? Yes!

I am requesting an Absentee Ballot for the November 6, 2012 election.

Must put return to the jail address so they can send your ballot to you.

You must receive your ballot from the Board of Elections and sent it back by October 30, 2012.

Note: This is for folks who are in jail who have not been convicted of a felony although their court date may be pending.

If you are a convicted felon but has served your time and probation you are able to vote so you can go to the nearest One Stop or you can vote on Election Day.
