Some Black Folk Tickles The Hell Out Of Me So Glad I Know Who I Am And Whose I Am!

Because of who I am free in mind and spirit but although enslaved to certain things but I do not accept it, I know that because of who I am and what I stand for I am a NIGGER to some. But they will not come out and say it so they use code words.

The problem with that is I recognize and understand that when good Black Folk fight we win so that is why I team up with folk who fight the good fight.

I refuse to be Silent on Issues That Matter To Me!

When Black Folk Come Together

Problem is and always has been is when black folk come together then and only then will things change. But black folk have created division amongst ourselves because since the early 90’s I have seen black folk not support folk who have stood up in our communities trying to make change and they were not supported but also they allowed other folk to attempt to discredit them. When these very black folk stand up and say that they have been a part of the problem and apologize publicly, then the cycle will continue.

However I am so glad that some of these hard fighting black folk who have stood up were able to make some changes over time but having to fight in-house along with the enemy.

Anywhere USA – Black Folks Are Where We Are Because We Choose To Be Right Where We Are!

Black folks are where we are because we choose to be right where we are and that is as individuals and as a whole.

In the home

When we don’t pull together then it is what it is. If we work together we can do some things and live a good life. But you see so many times everybody wants to be grown and we pass through this world not living the good life. We just live one day at a time.

In the community

When we are concerned about what is going on around us, be our brother’s and sister’s keeper especially looking out for children in our communities, we can have great communities. Today we are so tied up with our own mess that we can’t do things that we need to be doing. The community suffers and we continue to raise a generation who will carry the suffering on to the next generation.

On the job

When we stop being so damn jealous of each other on the job and start standing together we could be powerful. I can handle my own. When I see other folks being mistreated I speak up either in front of them and/or also going to the person who are doing the mistreating one on one. Some managers think that just because you earn a paycheck that they can treat you any kind of way. I think some managers are in denial, don’t understand or just don’t give a damn about their employees because what they need to understand is that everybody is grown and that we are there to collect a check after we have given them our labor. What part of that picture do they not understand?

Folks what I understand is that I got to work somewhere but what I also understand is that I am not going to be treated any kind of way when I give an employer a days work. Now if I ain’t doing my job then there are proper procedures to take to handle the situation, but come correct. But when some managers think that they can intimidate, harass and discriminate against us then if you see it happening to you and your co-workers and you don’t say anything you are part of the damn problem and not the solution.

When black folks wake the hell up and see they got the power we can begin to make things better for us at work and home.

Politics and Religion

If you don’t think politics and religion plays a role in our community then you are lost. You better get involved in both to some degree or you will get what you get without having a voice. Keep sitting back waiting on other folks. The sad part is some folks act as if they are in their own little world and talk about those who use their voice but they benefit when things are made better in the community and on the job.

What tickles the hell out of me is the so-called religious folks who allow mess to go with them and around them. How can you draw folks to the church when you don’t stand for anything? How can you teach your children to be productive and good when all they see is you going to work and having to struggle just to make ends meet? But maybe they don’t see it, because you act like you have arrived. But I know the children see it.

As I look at black on black crime, police brutality, how we allow them (racist white folks and/or Safe Negroes) to pick our leaders and attack our first Black President, I recognize and understand how easy it is for our young black males to do crime. Look around Edgecombe and Nash County alone and see how they have attacked young black male leaders. So what in the hell do the young black male have to look forward to? Read the local newspapers and see how young black male leaders have been attacked. Jealousy will continue to destroy us for generations to come.

Several years ago somebody said that our young black males were endangered species. I said oh hell no all black men are endangered species. Hell even the black man be he the best dressed, the best professional and the top Black man in these United States we are all treated like we are less than a damn dog. Hell I know we talk about young black males wearing their pants hanging off their ass but does it really make a difference? Well it do to me but really? I recognize and understand that when black folks come together we can be a powerful people.

I have been in the struggle since the early 90’s and I am still fighting. However I used to fight all battles but now I pick and choose what battles I fight so I can be productive in the fight. I look at how some folks are fighting some of the same battles that I have been fighting over the years but they are trying to feel they way. I have been there done that and can teach them some things but oh hell no some folks don’t want to hear it. You see jealousy is worst than the battle that they are fighting.

I feel that there is no fight that I get in that I am not victorious because I know how to fight and I have the skills. Some folks get discouraged because they don’t understand how to fight nor have the skills and just because it looks like they have lost they are really victorious. You see when you have the skills and deal in truth you can live with the outcome when other folks are in charge. But if you just wait a while you will see that the fight didn’t end with them because it ain’t over til God says it is over. Try me!

I Was Asked What Did I Think Of The Following As It Relates To Black Folks

Some truth. I have stated over and over since the early 90’s that until black folks come together in communities and put their ignance aside we will continue to be right where we are.

We are so divided that it does not make sense. Election time we could put more black folks in office but some blacks choose to take a few crumbs from other races to help them get elected but these are the same folks who sit at the table with you and say they are all about what is good for black folks.

When some black folks get in high places they forget where the hell they came from and treat other black folks like shit. They will sell their damn souls because they have "arrived!"

And some everyday blacks on the job are so divided by the work place conditions that they don’t realize how much power they have and end up singled out.

If black folks would pull together we could do some damn things. If black folks ever wake up they will see that they got the POWER!

Asian Interviewer: "Can you address their concerns Mr.Chang?"

MR. CHANG: "The concerns of Black people? Yes I can. The fact is, that we all live under a system of White Supremacy. We Asian people look back at our long history of conflict with the European. We observe their strategies and develop our own, in response and in kind. There is no need for loud mass movements on our part, because we intend to overtake them in time, through action and personal sacrifice".

Asian INTERVIEWER: "And the Black man?"

MR. CHANG: "He does not count into our situation. He is simply here. We do not hate the Black man. We just love the Asian man most. Real love--not cliche. We want to see Asian man happy, so we employ him. We eat together. We spend time with each other. We want his kids to be educated, so we invest in our own schools that offer our children the technical abilities to change the world's power structure in our favor. We want to see the Asian man safe, so we purchase and organize our own communities. We want him to remain Asian, so we reduce the outside influence of others ideologies and cultures. While he fought to sniff behind the White man, the Black man has had the opportunity and every right in the world to do the same, but he chooses to indict people like me for not hiring him over my own brothers. For me to do this would be foolish and that would not be Asian love. In contrast, the Black man will fight for the right to be up under everyone else other than other Black people who he should feel the most love for. If our indifference to their situation make us racist, then what would you call the Black man's indifference to his own situation?" www.FarrahGray.com

Leadership, This Is What Comes To Mind When I Think About How Black Folks Allow Mess To Go On But Think Things Are Going To Change. Safe Negroes I Got My Eyes On Them. Talking About Being Outraged? When? Where? Why?

Talking about being outraged when it comes to the Trayvon Martin case in Sanford Florida but then to not be outraged in your local communities and in your own state about issues and people is just ignant as hell. Many folks get outraged about issues and people outside of their local communities and state because they can play it safe. Safe Negroes is what I call them. I got my eyes on them.

On Saturday March 24, I went to Raleigh to the African American Caucus of the North Carolina Democratic Party General Body Meeting to see for myself just how they operate and most of all because they suppose to be about what is good for black folks. Well I try to keep up with folks who say they are trying to make things better for black folks.

I not only attended the meeting but videoed it and the video is available on The DCN TV so that those who didn’t attend can look at it from the convenience of their home. I was totally pissed because I get so sick and tired of black folks not handling business professionally and by their own By-laws, Constitution, Robert Rules of Order and etc.

Anyone whom has viewed the video ought to be outraged as hell. Not because of who the people are involved so much but outraged about the process. It is my opinion the process was not carried out properly because I don’t believe they followed their own By-laws, Constitution nor the Robert Rules of Order. It is my opinion that the meeting was illegal and totally out of order and control.

It is a damn shame black folks allow mess to go on in our communities and not hold those who do ignant mess accountable for their actions. It is not about liking the President nor the Secretary but should be all about being outraged how this meeting was conducted by a group of black folks who say they are leaders and about making things better for black folks. When things like this happens folks must set aside friendship and family and just do the right thing. Well I have come to the conclusion that the majority of the folks just ain’t going to do that.

But what tickles the hell out of me is that these same folks will talk about what our children are doing in the negative but hell we as adults ain’t together. Our children are watching us and they see we don’t hold each other accountable for our actions, do not promote good black folks (adults) so why should the children be held to a different standard. Our children live what they see and what I have seen when I first got involved in politics in the early 90’s is a bunch of mess. No respect for young folks who wants to get involved so the adults drive them away. But then the adults continue to talk about they don’t know what is wrong. Hell ya’ll ain’t that ignant just in denial or should I say scared? “If you are scared, say it!”

During the time of controversy is when the real, true leaders will take a stand. Please always remember these quotes by Miles Monroe on Inspirational Insights for the Frontline Leader;

"A title and position do not guarantee performance and productivity." "The greatest display of leadership is service." "Until you are willing to die for what you are living for, you cannot become a true leader." "The leader should not be motivated by, or greedy for money." "Leaders are men of faith, for faith is vision." "Leadership demands a commitment of service to others, a placing of the needs of others above our own." "If you are not willing to stand alone in your vision, not many will be willing to stand with you." "It is better to be criticized for action than to be ignored for non-action." "Leadership is lonely, because to lead means you must be out in front, ahead of the followers." "No true leader can expect to live a normal life as other people do." "Leaders belong to their generation and not to themselves." "If you do not want to be criticized, then decide to do nothing in life." "A leaders who knows who he is does not depend on others to validate his sense of self-worth." "True leaders never forget from whence they came, and live to bring others to where they are." One of the greatest dangers to leaders is the temptation to measure all others by oneself." "The true leader does not measure his success by comparing himself with others, but with his own purpose and vision."

My response: Now as I grow older, I pay less attention to what black folks say. I just watch what they do. C. Dancy II – DCN Publisher

I Am Going To Post Something That Is Going To Piss Some Black Folks The Hell Off But Guess What, It Is Better To Be Pissed Off Than To Be Pissed On. Enough Is Enough!

I am getting ready to educate some black and other folks on just how ignant some black folks can be in my opinion. Remember what I am about to share with you will be my opinion however I will present the data and you will be able to make your own decision. You see this is not the norm when it comes to many folks because they only tell their side of the story. I don’t need anyone to validate my opinions because when I know that I know that I know what I am talking about then I can stand behind my opinion 100%.  So therefore you don’t have to make it known that you agree or disagree with me. Most folks are scared to do either anyway because they are scared of what their friends, family and others may say about them. Well I don’t give a damn what you say about me because I am going to tell it in season and out of season.

I made a commitment back in the early 90’s to make people that I am connected to aware of what is going on around them and I don’t give a damn how they receive it but one thing they will not be able to say is that they didn’t know. But some will still lie and say they didn’t.

Stay tuned.
