I incorrectly reported that Art Pope owns the Dollar Generals. See original post here.

So why they don’t want to see downtown revitalized? Simply because they want to see the current city council fail. Well you don’t have to like the council to support a legit thing that will benefit the city as a whole. Like what is good about them and you can hate that is not in the best interest of all people. Supporting businesses be they white or black owned should not be the issued, the issue should be if they have what you need and at a reasonable cost. Hell I have shopped at all white businesses all my life. But with Art Pope who owns the Dollar Generals, Roses and other variety stores who are funding the Republican Party to segregate schools in Wake County and other it is time for me to stop spending my money there.
Note: I incorrectly reported that Art Pope owns the Dollar Generals. The following person is twisting my post to make someone think that I copied and pasted the comments above. Not!! The above is my comment about Dollar General and I stand to be corrected. However I will not allow those who have a problem with The DCN to twist information here to attempt to discredit me.
