Hell Yeah It Is About Race Rocky Mount City Manager Rochelle Small-Toney Lynching

Someone sent me a message from the Telegram saying that black folk missed a golden opportunity to get their message out in support of the City Manager when they didn’t allow Lindell Kay to attend the meeting. Really! I said do you think black folk trust him? They said they understand but Lindell would have done them right. Really!

I have not seen one article that Lindell have written about that speak to the many white meetings that are taking place. This speaks to Lindell talking to the whites as Randy adcox speak about below.

Now this is hi la ri ous:And when the renovating of the city manager’s office suite results in a price tag exceeding the cost of some HOMES, and is done without the city council’s knowledge or authorization, this too would be a “fireable” offense in any “regular” job. The Telegram’s reporting on this issue has largely been the result of current and former city employees who approached reporter Lindell Kay, and provided information about what THEY saw and heard within the offices of city hall. As Lindell told me recently, he didn’t HAVE to “go digging for dirt” on RST, because people were calling and emailing HIM two and three times a day, with concerns about how our city government is being run. The people who work *with* and *for* RST, have provided the most damning evidence of the problems that have come to light. And these employees are not “racist white people”, but rather African American coworkers, who felt like the public “needed to know what was going on in City Hall”. Kudos to these brave current and former employees, who in some cases risked their livelihood, in order to bring the issues out into the open.”

So some black folk told him some stuff. Well the black folk I talked to didn’t tell me the same thing. Oh well. One thing I do know is that those black folk that told him have to be ignant as hell to trust in him with information about their workplace. Obviously they have a problem with the City Manager and they are afraid of losing their jobs probably due to having their way before she arrived. Yep I know some Safe Black Folk who will say things when they can’t have their way.

Randy Adcoxto Rocky Mount Concerned Citizens

At 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, the public will once again get an opportunity to see our city government at work. As the debate on whether our current city manager,Rochelle Small-Toney (RST) should “stay” or “go” continues, the battle lines are being drawn between those who support her, and those who feel she should be asked to resign.
During a gathering of RST supporters recently, it’s rumored plans were made to fill the city council chambers Monday, before those who feel she should be fired, can even take a seat. And not totally unexpected, it appears there are also those who are already planning to make this a “racial issue”, pitting the black citizens of Rocky Mount against the white citizens. This “drawing of the race card”, should be denounced by both supporters and opponents of Mrs. Small-Toney. Those who would allow race to be brought into this equation are ignoring evidence and testimony from current and former city employees, as well as “the numbers”. And “the numbers” don’t lie. When prior employers are “pushed out” and replaced by former friends of RST, and paid tens of thousands of dollars more for the SAME job, this is frankly, unjustifiable. When incompetence in ensuring proper documents are filed and submitted, results in the city losing THOUSANDS of dollars in grant monies, this would be in any *other* job, a “fireable offense”. And when the renovating of the city manager’s office suite results in a price tag exceeding the cost of some HOMES, and is done without the city council’s knowledge or authorization, this too would be a “fireable” offense in any “regular” job. Kudos to these brave current and former employees, who in some cases risked their livelihood, in order to bring the issues out into the open.
Tomorrow’s City Council meeting may very well be one of the most important public meetings in this city, in recent history. The City Council needs to know there is STILL strong public interest in this story, and that we won’t simply “let it go”. And truthfully, this story is much larger than just “what should we do about our city manager?”. Evidence has been uncovered that points to some very troubling decisions and actions by certain council members, and this city council needs to answer for those actions and decisions. It’s a safe bet that much of the “questionable” decisions and actions of *some* council members, were done with the knowledge and apparent consent of ALL of the other council members. In other words, if one is guilty and none of the others spoke out against the guilty party(ies), then they too, are “guilty”.
Tomorrow’s meeting starts at 4:00. It’s a safe bet that by 3:30, the room will be “full”, and no one else will be allowed inside the council chambers. Will YOU be there?

Louis Strickland Came After Me On The Rocky Mount Telegram Comments So I Decided To Do Some Research

White Privilege and/or Safe Black Folk tickles the hell out of me. I don’t know if this dude that makes the comments on the Rocky Mount Telegram is black or white and if they live in Rocky Mount.

On Friday night while at the basketball game I decided to look up Louis Strickland since he came after me and I posted my findings on my Facebook page. The following is all I could fine after doing a Voter’s Registration Look Up. Since Friday I see Louis (another person who make comments) mentioned this so it appears they are following my Blog, Facebook and/or Twitter and LinkedIn pages. I posted the following on my blog.

This is the only Louis Strickland in Nash County unless he does not vote.

Louis Strickland and some other c’s come after me because I speak out and they have a problem with not being able to control this black man. Obviously they have me confused with some black men that they are used to. I ain’t the one.

Louis Strickland I don’t have to live in Rocky Mount and I don’t have to own any property to be able to speak out against c mess. I have family and friends who live in Rocky Mount and they have allowed me to speak for them. I have worked in Rocky Mount for the past 32 years as of January 26, 2019. I will continue to fight for equality for all in Edgecombe/Nash Counties but limited to all the days of my life.

School district officials confirmed that Dunn was teaching English/Language Arts at the school last year. Dunn taught in the school district for more than 11 years.
