Tarboro NC – Meet the Candidates for Edgecombe Community College President


Over the past several months, the Edgecombe Community College Board of Trustees has been engaged in the process of searching for a new president of the College.

The search has resulted in identifying the following three finalists for the position:

Dr. Deborah Grimes
Senior Vice President of Instruction and Student Services
Lenoir Community College, Kinston, NC

Dr. Greg McLeod
Provost/Chief Campus Administrative Officer and Interim Dean of Health Professions
Thomas Nelson Community College, Hampton, VA

Dr. Lannis Eugene “Gene” Smith Jr.
Vice President of Academic and Student Services
Wayne Community College, Goldsboro, NC

The Board of Trustees invites the College community and the public to meet the candidates at a reception on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Mobley Atrium of the Fleming Building on the College’s Tarboro campus.
