What I have a problem with is when folk take a shooting and add to and/or take away from the equation.
Start with the root.
Facts: If I am correct and if I am not then stand to be corrected.
A 19 year old had an AR and went to a school and shot some students and atleast one staff member.
Obviously the 19 year old has some issues.
Obviously he chose to use an AR so I wonder why.
I strongly believe if anyone want to have a real discussion about the most the shooting that the conversation need to be about what is factual.
What drove the 19 year old to go to the school to do what he did?
Where did he get the gun?
How was he able to carry out his mission when he got to the school?
Now that his mission was accomplished what steps can be taken to attempt to stop this from happening again?
What role do family members play do they know these folk who commits these crimes had issues?
Do folk in the community know these folk who commits these crimes had issues?
I have stated time and time again when something like this happen it should be mass meetings by organizations, churches and all concerned to talk about what happened so that folk can be abreast of what happened and so they can be a part of a discussion.
But what happen is time goes by and then another shooting happens and then the conversation continues with all of these opinions.
Congress need to take some action today.
