No, Bishop Paul S. Morton says, he hasn’t endorsed Donald Trump’s campaign: Jarvis DeBerry

The Political Agitator’s response: Bishop Paul Morton Gets It When It Comes To Donald Trump For President. He hit the nail on the head Trump is a bully.

Bishop Paul S. Morton, the former pastor of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans, was listed among the 100 black church leaders that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said would be endorsing him Monday, Nov. 30. But Morton, who in 1994 founded the Full Gospel Baptist denomination and has pastored in Atlanta since Hurricane Katrina, said in a tweet Friday that it’s not true that he’d be endorsing the candidate.

“I was asked 2 meet with Mr Trump too,” Morton tweeted, “but I refused because until he learns how to respect people you can’t represent me thru my endorsement.”

The word “too” that Morton uses in his tweet is significant because he’s not the only black religious leader who says his or her name has been wrongly included on a list of Trump endorsees. (Source: Read more)
