Killion resigns from board – Wilson Times

The Political Agitator response: You did the right thing! So don’t look back keep moving.

Joel Killion resigned as board secretary of the Wilson County Board of Elections Monday at the request of the Wilson County Republican Party.

His resignation follows a decision last week to change his voter registration from Republican to unaffiliated.

"It is with regret that I tender my resignation from the Wilson County Board of Elections as secretary, effective July 15, per the request of the Wilson County Republican Party,” Killion wrote. "I am grateful for having had the opportunity to serve on the board and offer my best wishes for its continued success.”

Killion emailed his resignation letter to Rena Morris, director of the Wilson County Board of Elections, and the letter will be sent to the N.C. Board of Elections. Morris is on vacation, but state election officials are expecting the letter, said Joshua Lawson, N.C. Board of Elections spokesman. (Source: Read more)

  1. Why investigation of the Wilson County Board of Election an not the Wilson County Public Schools and its School Board Members. complaint was filed against them both! As Wilson County Public Schools was the opposing party in NC OAH Special Education Contested Case 13-EDC-07545 where their attorney Rachel Hitch and its E.C. Director at the time Vivian Roach committed numerous criminal among other unethical, unprofessional violations that even the NC OAH court system has failed to address , which has resulted in a 11 year old special needs qualified person receiving no education at all for the entire 2013-2014 public school year and continuing on to the 2014-2015 school year for WCS!!!! why 1 and not the other?
