John Wooten I hate it when ignant ass folks try to discredit me and try to mislead folks. You called in tonight and said somebody said it was a debate and it was not suppose to have been that so you were told. Well damn I said I had spoken with some of the candidates and I thought it was a debate. I said the way it was set up it was a debate because it damn sure was not a forum. A forum is when folks attend but this was at the TV station and I don’t think anyone was there but the candidates and the moderator. SMDH! But now I am going to let you see where else I got it from, "Candidates to participate in televised debate."
John I understand you are mad with Taro Knight because he didn’t support you for Tarboro City Council and then a couple of years later Mayor’ sea,, but don’t get ignant on me, stay with me.

Deadspin has acquired an extended, 15-minute version of the conversation between Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his then-girlfriend V. Stiviano. If the original nine-minute tape acquired by TMZ left any questions about Sterling’s opinions regarding minorities, the audio here should remove all doubt that he’s a doddering racist with views not too far removed from the plantation. The Political Agitator response: But did they ban him only for his most recent actions? From the little I have read he should have been out a long time ago. I strongly feel that when a person receive certain treatment it should be according to what kind of position that person holds. A person could continue to use their position to further keep mess going. Some folks didn’t have a choice but to be a slave and to be called and used as such. Some of these old sayings since I have gotten older, I don’t agree with any longer. For me it is not about being politically correct but all about RESPECT. Hell if he felt that way then he ought to have gone into hiding or only allowed non black folks to be on his staff and on the court. Yep I get emotional as hell because I will not tolerate this kind of mess from other folks. But the problem is, I have dealt with it here in Edgecombe County be it directly and/or indirectly just like this issue and I stood with others so that these folks would know that they better think differently if they want to come my way with their racist attitudes.
NEW YORK — NBA Commissioner Adam Silver delivered the swiftest, strongest penalty he could, then called on NBA owners to force Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling to sell the team for making racist comments that hurt the league.
Almost unanimously, owners supported the commissioner Tuesday, as he handed down one of the harshest penalties in the history of U.S. sports.
"We stand together in condemning Mr. Sterling’s views. They simply have no place in the NBA," Silver said at a news conference.
Sterling, 80, is banned for life from any association with the league or the Clippers, and fined $2.5 million – the maximum allowable under the NBA constitution. If three-fourths of the other 29 owners agree to Silver’s recommendation, Sterling will be forced to sell the team he has owned since 1981. (Source: Read more)
