County reports progress made in Princeville – Rocky Mount Telegram

A number of improvements have been made during the past year related to Princeville’s water and sewer system, according to a report from Edgecombe County officials.

The county took over the operations of Princeville’s water and sewer system about a year ago. Since then, the average number of monthly delinquent customers decreased from 89 to 45, according to a report that was presented to county commissioners earlier this month.

The average monthly water loss in the system decreased from 27 percent in December 2012 to 8 percent this month. (More)
