School board repeals paddle policy – Source: The Rocky Mount Telegram

NASHVILLE — Effective this morning, principals in Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools no longer are allowed to paddle students.

The Nash-Rocky Mount Board of Education repealed its policy on corporal punishment with a 6-5 vote Monday after a lengthy discussion over the pros and cons of corporal punishment in the school district. (Read more)

Tell Your Senators to Vote NO on the Harsh House Cuts (H.R. 1)
