Note: I find some of the endorsements to be quite interesting:

Jeff Collins (R) for N.C. House District 25

Buck Newton (R) for N.C. Senate District 11

Renee Ellmers (R) for U.S. House District 2

Richard Burr (R) for U.S. Senate

  1. Really doesn’t surprise me in one respect. They’ve (NCLE)never been silent to their Republican slant and I suspect it’s more about the tea bagger mentality over here than anything else. It is interesting that they have a Democratic Sheriff and that Ricky Parks ran as a Democrat. Ricky had a lot of Republican support in Nash County and had Ricky run as a Republican you may have seen a much tighter race, given the political tea bagger climate in this area. Ricky was a much better candidate than the election results show. He was the only white candidate I’ve ever seen to go to some of the events he went to back in the primary.
