Parents, Students and Administrators Who Do You Have To Represent You When You Have School Issues?

Just finished a letter to the Superintendent Office in response to his letter to one of the families that I am working with. Now on my way to the parents so they can sign it so I can send it via email and fax.

I will do another letter for 2 other families tonight and meet with them tomorrow to request a follow-up meeting about their issue.

I have a meeting with the interim Superintendent on Tuesday his first day at work. I always go sit down and meet with the new Superintendent to let them know that I am an advocate for children, parents and administrators if they should contact me for assistance.

I am an advocate for the children especially because they really do not have anyone to represent them. Parents really don’t know how to work the system and what steps to take so that is where I come in. I have been an advocate long before I had a child in the system.

The staff has the principal, the superintendent, the board of education and their lawyer and the NCAE to represent them. The principal has the superintendent, the board of education and their lawyer and the NCAE.

If you are a parent I ask the question, who do you have?
