It is so sad the audit report was presented about 3 weeks after the election. I don’t know if the people would have focused on the report or if they would have just continue to follow the noise. The noise, the former mayor, a former councilwoman and a former candidate in the election before this month whom will be taking a seat on the board next month.
Although I feel that the current and outgoing mayor should have been more meeting friendly, I still say the people of Princeville will possibly see less progress since the current mayor and 2 councilwomen were not re-elected.
But just maybe if the current mayor and the others council members had asked the former town manager to resign earlier, just maybe they would have been re-elected.
Well we will have to see just what happens over the next 4 years. I really hope things continue to move forward but I have my doubts.
I didn’t attend the meeting on last night however I plan to cover this meeting meeting and several others on a regular monthly basis beginning in January.
