Legislators to take up voter ID

This should not be a partisan issue. Just ask – how would officials verify the ID? How much will it cost?
Would photo ID requirements stop someone who is determined to impersonate a voter (at risk of felony conviction)?

Will the state or counties pay for this? Either cuts in services will be made to pay for this or taxes will be increased.
