That being said I am going to continue to piss some folks off from this day forward and I will not be apologetic for speaking truth. However if I can be proven wrong I will apologize so I challenge you, you and you to try me.

Yes I am a black man but I am not so damn black that I am “IGNANT” to my knowledge of politics and people. I know who the players are the real leaders and those who play both sides. Those who play both sides get in an all black meeting and say one thing and then get in a meeting with black, brown, white and others in the same room and they say something different. Well I don’t roll like that. I am the same in all meetings because I don’t play both sides.

I posted articles on my blog for folks before the filing period and after. So now we are past that they will not have to guess where I stand. I will be stating who I will be voting for and who I would vote for if they were on my ballot. I ain’t telling others who to vote for just making them aware who I am voting for.

I can’t wait to see the slate of candidates that the Nash-Edgecombe Black Political Caucus who drop the black off when they speak so they can play not only both sides but all sides black, brown, white and other, Democrat and Republican. I also can’t wait to see other pacs endorsements and individual endorsements. You hardly ever see individual endorsements because many of the so-called mover and shakers play both sides. Well when folks pass by my yard it is clear by the signs that are displayed and by reading my blog.

Received A Voice Mail Today Questioning Me About A Post On My Blog “Barbara Ann Cole Wants To Unseat Robin Carpenter For Edgecombe County Register of Deeds”

I received a voice mail today from a person who knows me telling me they had read my post on my blog, “Barbara Ann Cole Wants To Unseat Robin Carpenter For Edgecombe County Register of Deeds.” The caller said they wanted to know did I know Carpenter before she became Register of Deeds? The caller said to call them. Now I may not have responded to them if they had not asked me to call them.

Damn I was so tore up that I was trying to finish listening to the message and call them at the same time and was not getting anywhere. I had to go back to the message and hear the entire message so that when I called the person I would know what they said.

Well folks I had an ignant moment. I called the person and I told them they know me and they better not ever call me again and questioning me about why I say I  am going to vote for someone. I said first of all I don’t think I could spelled it out any clearer on my blog why I could not vote for Cole who is black. I told the caller that they know I do my homework. If I don’t know a candidate then I call my trusted sources which is a few to get their opinion and if I feel good about what they tell me, then many times I will think about it. Later I will decide if I am going to support that person.

Folks many of you who read my blog know me and for those who do not I will entertain some things from you but folks like the caller today, hell no I am not going to entertain their ignance. I ain’t mad with the caller but they don’t need to let that happen again because I don’t play when it comes to politics.

The Reason Why Our President Is Catching So Much Hell Is Because Where Is The Media When Local Political Events Take Place And When They Do Show Up, Do They Share The Real Deal With You?

The majority of the time the media do not cover local black political events and when they do do they really share the real deal with you? We, black folks must document these events and get it to the local grassroots folks so they can be educated with truth. This will eliminate the Ignant Racist White Folks mess as they try to mislead folks about our black leaders. It will also eliminate some Safe Negroes who want to hold us right where we are,

I read a lot of things that different people write and/or share that others write trying to discredit the first black President Of These United States of America Barack Obama. I also hear some folks saying ignant mess and I just shake my head.

I am so glad my Congressman G.K. Butterfield keeps us informed about what is really going on in Washington from as an insider. I trust in my Congressman to tell me the real deal and when I hear the President haters tell their story I don’t entertain their ignance.

Anyone in their right mind know that the Republicans in Washington and their supporters are doing everything they can to mislead folks so they will not support President Barack Obama because they have a problem with a black man being President. Anyone who have been keeping up with politics since our President has been in office, know that the Tea Party has been in control of those ignant Republicans in office.

Why is it I always hear about what President Obama is doing/not doing but I don’t hear his haters talking about what the Republicans are doing in Washington. Not a damn thing but cutting. For example since they have made so many cuts why in the hell don’t anyone in their right mind understand that this means hundreds of folks lost their jobs. So who do they blame for the high unemployment rate? Right answer, the black man who just happens to be President. Who did it? God did it made him President and if it was not so after all that he has been through, he would not been able to stand. They tried to say he was not American. Damn fools try to change the rules for their benefit but God said not so.

I am so glad that I am actively engaged in politics and know the majority of the local, state and national politicians that represent me. So many folks can not say that. What tickles the hell out of me, those whom I come in contact with in person and via the internet whom are President Obama haters have never spoken with their representatives and I wouldn’t be scared to bet they don’t know who their representatives are. But these haters try to talk about what our President is doing/not doing but they don’t even know who their local representative is but trying to speak to a national issue.

I have come to the conclusion that I will not entertain ignance from Ignant Racist White Folks nor Safe Negroes the President Obama haters. I will address them by directing them to the information that my Congressman has shared as it relates to what is going on in Washington and then I want them to share with me what their representative has shared with them. They can’t because they rely totally on the media but especially the plenty of racist talk shows hosted by racist white men. However don’t get it twisted because there are some ignant black folks who are misleading folks about our President as well because they are ignant to the facts.

I want to close by saying the haters will say what has our President done and I will simply say do your homework on what he has done because it is documented. When you try to tell your story, just tell the whole story. Begin with where we stood when former President Bill Clinton was in office what he was working with and where we stood when he left. Tell us where Bush stood when he took office and where we stood when he left. And then finally tell us where the black President stood when he took office and where we are today. Don’t start with the black President because it didn’t begin with him.

Response: I believe in everyone having a right to run for office however I find it somewhat interesting that all of these folks are challenging the incumbents. I have attended many meetings over the years and have not attended that last couple of meetings due to a conflict in my scheduling.

I have been following the Princeville town meetings via newspaper and speaking with several folks who live there. I am having a hard time trying to figure out why anyone would run against the 2 incumbents when they have been fighting hard for the residents of Princeville while having to constantly fight the mayor and the other 2 commissioners. Those who are challenging the incumbents make it appear in my opinion that the 2 incumbents are the problem when I know for a fact and have it documented on video who the problems are. So in my opinion those who are challenging the the incumbents are justifying the ignance of the mayor and the other 2 commissioners. If I lived in Princeville I would be supporting the incumbents because they have been trying to do what is in the best interest of all the citizens.

If the incumbents are defeated the Town of Princeville will continue to go the hell because it is no way 2 new commissioners are going to come in and get anything accomplished. Response To Antwan Pittman Being Found Guilty In The Murder Of An Edgecombe County Woman So Quickly

I am lead to believe that the defense obviously didn’t have a lot to fight with so therefore the case ended quickly. I believe that the evidence presented must have been enough that the defense could not really challenge the facts as presented nor the witnesses.

The families of the other missing/murdered women need to be patient and hope that other evidence can be linked to Antwan Pittman and that it will be strong enough to bring before the courts. It is no need to go to court with a whole lot of doubt and allow the defense to make the DA and others look like fools.

I commend the local Edgecombe, Nash and surrounding counties law enforcement whom have played a role in trying to bring some closure on the murdered and missing women saga in Edgecombe and Nash Counties.

Now the least that everyone whom are concerned about the other missing/murdered women that have not been closed can do is to pray that justice will prevail.

Is The Economy As Bad As It Appears To Be? I Am Glad I Can Add 43 Plus 1.

If I didn’t read all the bull manure, see all the bull manure on tv about how bad the economy is I would be blind to that facts.

Hell gas is high as hell but I see a lot of cars on the road, going to restaurants and anywhere they want to go.

I am so glad I can see what is going on around me for myself and don’t have to rely on others to tell me how bad the economy is and that "our" President is the root cause. I am glad I can add 43 plus 1.

Black Folks Who Are Democrats And Are President Obama Haters, How Do You Just Connect With The Enemy?

I understand holding the President accountable for his actions but to not give the man 2 terms in office is just ignant on these black folks behalf who are lining up with others against him.

I have always seen black folks as our worst enemies when it comes to politics.

And then if they don’t like the President and they are Democrats why in the hell don’t they support another Democrat? How do you just go on the side and connect with the enemy?

I just don’t get it.

Some Folks Are So Damn Educated And Knowledgeable About President Obama . . .

Some folks are so damn educated and knowledgeable that they can’t take constructive criticism when challenging them. I love it.

Even those who say they support him throw out bits and pieces and when I challenge them they get so agitated that ignance kick in.

I am so glad I don’t need anyone to validate my self-worth however these folks continue to try to validate themselves.

Presidential Election

In response to a friend on Facebook in response to Herman Cain a black Republican candidate for President.

How many folks knew anything about any President before they became elected? FACT!

To think that the Republicans are going to support Cain is just too ignant. FACT!

You say I will go back to the Democratic Party. Well sir if you and others along with myself do not elect good Democrats from our local communities to go in and fight for us then we get what we get. For me Democrat is a name but a person gets the job done. We get what we elect. I repeat I have been holding Democrats accountable since the early 90′s and you know that. FACT!

I have said it many of times and you know it to be true that black folks who play both sides are the reason why we are in the shape we are when it comes to election time. Look at the safe negroes who sell out during election time because the white man give them a few crumbs. I ride the polls and I see what goes on, I am in the meetings and I know who do what. FACT!

We are not loyal to ourselves in many cases. I have said it over and over again until black folks come together we will continue to get what we get. I don’t give a damn if one is a Democrat, Republican or whatever. Without a black unified vision we will continue to get what we get by "grace" because I feel strongly that we have survived by the grace of God as the black community is so divided, the lack of trust, jealousy and the list goes on. FACT!

You can continue to make it a Democrat/Republican thing but I see it as a black thing.

Makes me wonder why they don’t just support him and then prove that his vision/bills will result in failure.

Thank you for accepting to be my friend. I felt that we could learn more about each other by doing so.

I want to also apologize for any and all comments that I have made about you, to you and your friends be they personal or just as members of the Tarboro 27886 group that I may have offended.

I am an agitator however I stand firm on what I believe in and I try to get people to focus on the real issue and not people because if we deal with the real issue of concern it will take care of the people issue. Many times I am misunderstood but when a person get to know me, they understand me.

I always try to begin a discussion as Curmilus Butch Dancy II the majority of the time according to the subject and if I know the people on a personal note. I start out by challenging others to stay within the policies and procedures of the issue involved and other measurable things and not to act solely on emotions. I always try to challenge the policies and procedures because if I don’t like them I recognize  and understand I must seek to change them.

I always hope the discussions that I get involved in goes well but when it does not I put on my agitator hat but I do it out of love.

So again thank you for accepting me as your facebook friend and please accept my apology. We both live in Edgecombe County and we all need to get along but understand it is okay to agree to disagree as we learn our boundaries of where we can go as it relates to speaking for and seeking to speak on issues that are dear to us. I look forward to being able to agree to disagree on issues in the future. We may not agree on a particular issue but I know we will agree on some issues. Heck I don’t even agree with my wife and family all the time and vise versa.

Racist – Last Night I Was Asked The Question Am I A Racist?

Last night I was talking to my cousin and his wife and they asked me was I a racist? They said some white and black people said I am. I loved that question. I told them that I have been called many things.

My answer was black people have another name for me and that is militant not racist but they get the words confused.

I said white people say I am a racist because they are not used to a black man not being afraid to challenge them, that is not the norm. But there is also black folks who are not used to a black man challenging white folks and some are just jealous as hell because I do what I do. But the real deal is I challenge black, brown, white and other folks. Hell I have challenged more black people than I ever will whites because black folks are my biggest concern. They are scared and scared folks will get you killed so therefore I don’t roll with certain black folks. So therefore over the years I have my own way of doing things and my own philosophy of life. I am not limited to what other black folks have to say. Once you know better then you do things different.

Black folks say I am a racist because I say what they want to say but they are afraid to say it. You see black folks will say what needs to be said behind closed doors but afraid to say it publicly. So therefore I get lots of credit because I say publicly what their scared behinds say behind closed doors because I am not afraid.

I have been asked do I plan to run for an office and I said not thinking about it at the moment. Why? Because most black politicians plays both sides and just in office for a name and the benefits package. I said the black politicians would be against me worst than the whites because I would be a threat to them because they know I will call them out. This is why black politicians do not consider me for appointments because they know I have a mind of my own and will not be a “yes” person. So therefore they can’t control me so therefore I don’t have to worry about any of them ever appointing me to anything.

I refuse to tolerate racism but most of all ignorance no matter if they are black, brown, white or other. I don’t care what “they” whomever “they” are call me because I know who I am and whose I am. I will continue to remind all of “them” that I am not an afraid black man. I will say what needs to be said be it behind closed doors, in public, on my blog, in season, out of season and or etc.

Ignant Column – “Black Family Day” Tarboro NC Has Been Moved To Indian Lake

I see the Ignant Racist White Folks on Tarboro 27886 Facebook page are at it again. I see the owner and the administrators allow the Ignant Racist White Folks to continue to post their comments there even after they have asked them to stop beating a dead horse.

I Know I Am Damn Good When I Can Take On A Group Of Racist White Folks Who Are Protesting The Black Family Day In Tarboro NC because I was kicked off the Tarboro 27886 Facebook page and I was only trying to make the Ignant Racist White Folks understand the fight was not with the co-sponsors but with the Town of Tarboro. I said the fight should be if the town followed their own policies and procedures. Obviously they followed them because at the August 8 regular monthly meeting the town voted to allow the “Black Family Day” to be held on The Town Commons.

First of all I don’t give a damn if there is a “Black Family Day” held in Tarboro Edgecombe County where racism is alive and well. I also don’t give a damn if there is a “White Family Day,” or other “Family Day” held in Tarboro but if it was, it would be my decision to choose whether I want to attend.

The Tarboro Town Commons has had things held there such as the Confederate Soldiers Re-enactment and other things that I am quite sure that the majority of black folks didn’t give a damn about the events but their tax dollars were used. However I bet some blacks probably attended each of those events. I didn’t attend because I was not interested. But these Ignant Racist White Folks continue to talk about their tax dollars paying for the “Black Family Day” as if black folks do not pay taxes.

I found it right interesting there were little to no comments about “Black Family Day” on the Tarboro 27886 Facebook page since Hurricane Irene hit The Commons. But I figured the discussion was going on behind the scenes and I see it was after visiting the Tarboro 27886 Facebook page today. I visited it to see what they were saying since “Black Family Day” has been moved to Indian Lake. There was a special meeting held today at the Town Hall in regards to the event. I understand that atleast one councilman wanted the event postponed.

Although Joyce Jefferson a Tarboro 27886 Facebook page member has made several other comments not in favor of the “Black Family Day” she hit the nail on the head with the following statement. But like I have said before, The co-sponsors of the “Black Family Day” had the right to ask to have the event on The Common since the policies and procedures allowed it.

Joyce Jefferson I don’t think the Town Common should be used by any of us. We have two other areas that are more suitable for human use. Each area has picnic tables and restrooms facilities. I’m talking about Indian Lake and Braswell Center.

However Joyce Jefferson only mentioned the the 2 places above that are on the white side of town and didn’t mention the Ray Center/Clark Park that is on the black side of town. Do the Ray Center/Clark Park get the same attention as the Braswell Center? Go figure?

Until the policies and procedures are changed then the Town of Tarboro will have to honor just about any reasonable request from citizens and organizations to have events. But since the Ignant Racist White Folks are continuing to speak I bet there will be a change.

Tarboro NC – Faye Taylor Board Member Edgecombe County Public Schools Must Go

Sources supply me with much information about school and other issues however I don’t release some information that I receive because I try to do my homework before I put it out there. Sometimes it takes months and/or sometimes I never share certain information if I do not feel good about it although it may sound good.

Recently I named the Mayor of Princeville and 2 commissioners the Princeville 3. I am beginning to think that I am going to name 3 of the Edgecombe County Public Schools board members The ECPS 3 and they are Ann Kent Chair, Faye Taylor and Attorney Janice Davidson. If Dr. Talley was not leaving I might would probably call it The ECPS 4.

Edgecombe County Public Schools System is in a hell of a mess. Everyday I continue to hear more and more about mess going on and it is sad because they have no concern about the children but only about dealing with ADULTS. If everyone within the school system from the board, superintendent and staff were doing what they suppose to do then it would be no reason why our schools should not meet their expected growth.

First of all I want to say that Dr. Wayne Talley obviously don’t understand that it is some whites, board members, staff and in the community who are meeting and discussing what is going on in the Central Office and then we get the hearsay stuff in which after time I find to be 100% true. I have been out here a long time and everything, I repeat everything that I have received about what is going on has come from conversations that came out of a white conversation.

I have been tickled to death the responses I have received since my post “Tarboro NC – Edgecombe County Public Schools, Closed Session Meetings, Dr. Wayne Talley Superintendent, John Westberg Former Principal, Sandra Jones Former Associate Superintendent, Juanita Westry Former Superintendent/Board Secretary” went out today. I am totally pissed about some of the information that I have learned.

I understand my name has come up that I supported Dr. Talley and I did support him as it related to Diane LeFiles and Dr. Lana VanderLinden positions. But I had my reasons and not because Dr. Talley had came up with something that no one else had had some concerns as it related to those positions. Been much talk about those 2 positions.

Sources say Faye Taylor wanted to get on the board because she had some personal things that she wanted to make happen within the system. I understand she can be credited for much of the mess that has gone on since her tenure on the board.

I understand that Faye Taylor and Ann Kent has spent much time in the Central Office over the past year feeding Dr. Talley with their concerns. I understand that when Faye made the comment that there were too many blacks in the Central Office that on this particular day the door was open and several people heard it. I understand that Sandra Jones name came up and that Taylor said she would not support renewing her contract so I guess this is why Talley didn’t renew her contract. I understand that Jones interviewed for her job but this is when they gave it to Dr. Renee Franklin. But again it was reported in the Daily Southerner that Jones retired.

I understand atleast one person approached Taylor and asked her about the Central Office incident and that she danced all around the question. I understand that Faye denied when asked by others even when some whom were present that heard it but didn’t admit it happened. I understand Dr. Talley lied but later told the truth.

I understand that Taylor supported a black female to become principal at Bullock School when she retired. But then I understand Faye was at the school almost daily all up in the teachers rooms and therefore it left many parents wondering who was the principal. I understand the black female asked that Taylor stop coming so often but she said she had grand children there. Well if black parents did that, we would be considered troublemakers. I know firsthand. I was told Taylor complained and the female was removed from the school.

I am beginning to wonder about Dr. Talley now. He had asked me to meet with him but for some reason the vibes were not allowing me to do such. I remember he asked me not long ago was I mad with him so I believe he must thought I knew about the mess with Sandra Jones but I just found out recently that she didn’t retire and obviously not since she is working. He is the only superintendent out of the past 5 – 6 that I did not meet with when they signed on. I also met with the interim superintendent before Talley was hired.

Sources say that Dr. Talley got a bad evaluation and that he is not really sick. Well I am going to take his word because I hope he is not lying about his health. I also heard some other things but that is not relevant/important because September 30 he will be history.

The Edgecombe County Public Schools System is my main concern and I follow the system faithfully. I began to follow them back in 1993 before I had a child in the system so it has never been about my children but all the children of the county be they black, brown, white and/or other. When it comes to politics and attending meetings I don’t play. So anyone who tries to connect me to the black board members it goes to show that they are ignorant to who I am and what I am stand for. I do what I do for the children and although I am for black board members, I ain’t totally caught up in them. If you read my blog you will see that I have called out both Evelyn Wilson and Dr. Evelyn Johnson so you should see that we do not have that type of relationship. You see I have no permanent friends, no permanent enemies only permanent interest. I don’t know Attorney Teresa D. Bryant that well so I am learning her but Dr. Johnson been knowing her all of my life and Wilson been knowing her for many, many years. I have always thought Brant would be good for the board since she has worked with another law firm as it relates to the education system so therefore I feel that is a plus for our children.

Folks say what you want about me but I repeat my children will be okay because I fight for them and I have never and will never leave it totally up to others to fight for them. However I do know that some children don’t have anyone to fight for them so therefore I will be there for them. It is all about the children.

Always stay tuned for more as it relates to Edgecombe County Public Schools because the system is my main concern. I am going to tell the good, the bad and the ugly and I don’t give a damn who it is for or against because the truth will stand.

President Barack Obama – Did You Think?

I recognize our President ran on “Hope and Change!!” but I don’t believe he thought he would have to deal with a White House controlled by Republicans and nor did I.

Please answer the following questions and post in Comments. Thanking you in advance.

Yes/No or Maybe

(1.) Did you think that Barack Obama would become the first black President? Maybe

(2.) Did you think that when he became President that he was going to save Black Folks? Hell No

(3.) Did you think that White Republicans would support our President? Hell No

(4.) Did you think that all Democrats Black and White would support our President during his 4 year term? Hell No

(5.) Did you think that our President was going to make a real change since the Republicans took over The White House shortly after he was elected? Hell No

So if you can answer Yes to all or the majority of the questions above, then you should be disappointed. If your answers are similar to mines then you are not ignorant to the above facts and should not be disappointed. The only way I would be disappointed is the Democrats had control of The White House and I seen no change.

So for all of those especially Black folks who are disappointed with “Our” President just maybe the next President will save your Black butts.

I am going to get more personal now, so if my President Barack Obama is re-elected and the Democrats do not regain control over The White House then I expect to see the same ole bull manure that I have seen since he was elected to office.

With all of the President bashing from all angles, I can understand at the grassroots level what my President is going through because I know what politics is like on the local level. I deal with Racist White Folks and Safe Negroes all the time. I ask myself the following question, “Which Is Worst?”
