Nash-Rocky Mount superintendent open to talking about testing policies – Source: Rocky Mount Telegram

This letter is in response to the Letter to the Editor on Sept. 26 in reference to Baskerville Elementary School.

As superintendent of the Nash-Rocky Mount Public School System, I firmly believe that all children can learn and can achieve to the maximum level of their ability. As a school system, we believe strongly in our students and their ability to learn and to achieve. With master teachers, strong leadership and proven implementation of instructional practices, students can and do outperform traditionally anticipated achievement levels. (Read more)
