PINETOPS — The SouthWest Edgecombe JV Cougars claimed the unofficial title of best JV team in Edgecombe County by beating the Tarboro Vikings 24-6 Thursday night and dethroning the Eastern Plain Conference champions.
Last year the Vikings defeated the Cougars to earn the conference title. (Read more)
