Princeville NC the oldest town incorporated by blacks celebrated their 127 birthday on Saturday February 25, 2012 at 10:00 am.

What a combination to help celebrate Congressman G.K. Butterfield 1st Congressional District Wilson NC and the World’s Most Famous Salvation & Deliverance Choir of Tarboro NC winners of the Verizon How Sweet The Sounds National Award. They performed at the 2012 Super Bowl.

Congressman G.K. Butterfield gave a brief history of Princeville and said actually it should be 147 years instead of 127.

Everytime I hear Salvation & Deliverance they get better and more better. Simply awesome!!

I was in the process of purchasing a ticket last Friday but to find out I have to video a basketball game in Kinston NC. I sure would love to have attended but guess what, I did get the wife a ticket so therefore I am still representing.
