Butterfield to Visit Roanoke Rapids Tuesday
Roanoke Rapids, N.C. – Congressman G. K. Butterfield will visit Tuesday to announce federal funding for the fire department and to replace an American flag stolen from the Social Security Administration office.
Butterfield will announce the federal funding at the Roanoke Rapids Fire Station #1 at 1 p.m. Mayor Emery Daughtie, Fire Chief Gary Corbet, City Manager Paul Sabiston, Assistant Fire Chief Ricky Dickens, Battalion Chief Jason Patrick, fire fighters and other city officials, will join him.
Butterfield will also visit the Social Security Administration office at 2 p.m. to provide an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol that will replace a stolen flag.
Butterfield’s schedule in Roanoke Rapids will be as follows:
1 – 1:30 p.m.
