Twin Counties’ Democrats will map out campaign strategies and decide party leadership for next year’s election at their upcoming spring conventions.
Over the next two weekends, the Democratic parties of Nash and Edgecombe counties will hold their annual county conventions. Attendees participating in both county conventions will elect county party officers and delegates to the district and state conventions. (Read more)

A top state Democratic leader is visiting the Twin Counties this week to promote the party’s agenda beyond the midterm elections.
N.C. Democratic Party Chairman David Young will be the guest speaker this Thursday at the Nash County Democratic Party’s fall banquet. The gathering will take place at 6:30 p.m. inside the Brown Auditorium at Nash Community College. Tickets are $25. (Read more)
