My condolence goes out to my longtime friend Carl White and family on the loss of their love one Mrs. Annie White whom was a real freedom fighter. When I seen Carl I seen his wife/partner. Their email best describe them carlannie because they were one. Carl my friend I can’t say that I know what you are going through because I have not been in your shoes however this song comes to mind:

Winton NC, Hertford County – NAACP weighs in on Mobley case

I received a phone call about a week ago asking me was Carl White a Magistrate and did he get locked up for assault. I told them Mr. White had recently retired from the Ship Yard in Virginia and I unaware of him ever being a magistrate. When I receive information I investigate to get the information to make sure it is legit or twisted. I called my friend Mr. White and he shared with me that the NAACP was working on an issue dealing with a magistrate. So then I called the person back that had called me so that they could get back with their source to let them know they have twisted information. C. Dancy II – DCN Publisher

NAACP weighs in on Mobley case 

New details have come to light, including the involvement of the Hertford County Chapter of the NAACP, into last week’s criminal action against Hertford County Magistrate Leonard Mobley.

At a press conference (dealing with an Economic Rights Summit; that story will appear in a later edition) held Wednesday morning at the Elk’s Shrine in Winton, Hertford County NAACP Chapter President Carl White said his group has asked for an independent investigation of the incident.
