A handful of the state’s top Democratic legislators visited Four Seasons Restaurant on Monday as the second stop on a statewide tour geared toward supporting education and economic improvements.
The downtown luncheon, part of a campaign dubbed “Move NC Forward,” served as a rallying cry blasting the Republicans’ budget plan and cuts made to education as well as raising awareness of high unemployment rates in Nash, Edgecombe and Wilson counties. (Read more)
