TARBORO, N.C. – Officials have confirmed the body discovered Thursday is that of missing Aimee Pitt.
The medical examiner tells Nine On Your Side that dental records have confirmed that the body recovered Thursday is that of Aimee Lynn Pitt. (Read more)

TARBORO — The Tarboro police has reportedly found a white female body within the town limits of Tarboro. According to a Tarboro Police news release, the remains have been taken to an area medical facility for an autopsy and for positive identification. (Read more)
