Response: I have had some dealings with Hales over the years as he coached my son for 2 years when he played Upward Basketball at First Freewill Baptist Church. Coach Hales always showed his professionalism while coaching the boys and I had much respect for him. I feel good that if he was the next Chief of Police that he would do a great job.
