TARBORO — Jontae Sherrod was all smiles while the East Carolina University basketball public announcer listed his career stats as a Pirate during senior night on March 2 at Minges Coliseum during the senior’s last home game. Perhaps Sherrod was smiling because he realized that he had lived one of his childhood dreams of playing basketball in college. (Read more)
