Raleigh NC – John Wall charged with breaking, entering

John Wall, one of the country’s most prized college basketball prospects, was charged last week with misdemeanor breaking and entering at a southeast Raleigh residence.

Wall, 18, a senior at Raleigh Word of God Christian Academy, was detained about 12:30 p.m. April 27 by a Raleigh police officer who was responding to a report of a breaking and entering in progress at an unoccupied dwelling at 3924 Laurel Glen Drive, Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue said in a statement. Durham NC – John Wall plans visit to N.C. Central

The recruitment of John Wall, the top high school basketball point guard recruit in the country, took another twist Thursday when Wall planned an unofficial visit to N.C. Central for today.

"I want to find out what a historically black school has to offer," Wall said Thursday night of N.C. Central, an NCAA Division I independent. (News & Observer)

Raleigh NC – NCSU stops John Wall Web site

The frenzied pursuit of high school star John Wall of Raleigh has galvanized college basketball fans to get involved in an interactive way via Facebook and other social networking Web sites. That has schools concerned about running afoul of NCAA rules. (News & Observer)
