Ida was a die hard activist. She was the most willing, caring and more person that I have ever met when it came to community activism. I stood with her in the BWFJ (Black Workers For Justice) and the NAACP (National Association For Advancement of Colored People). I enjoyed working with her because I know that if she was at the meeting that I would have another person who was there to take care of business unlike some other folks who was just there for the fame but not Ida.
